About this mod
Medkits heal slower making fights more brutal, Bandages don't heal, Food heals very slowly, Energy Drinks weaker but effect last longer, vodka stamina penalties last longer, vodka armor buff decreased a little.
- Permissions and credits
• Medkits don't heal instantly, instead they heal a little more but in a 20-30 seconds time window. This makes combat much more brutal and you will need to plan ahead.
• Bandages don't heal, but they stop bleeding. Although if you are heavily bleeding, you might need two bandages, time it well.
• Food heals a little over a long period of time, this adds a depth to the food system so it's not only "hunger icon appears therefore eat", you can also heal yourself when outside of combat by eating a nice meal next to a fire, and even approach combat with a good meal on your stomach for added slow regeneration that'll give you an edge. Maybe food heals stack...
• Water provides a long (600 seconds) small boost to stamina, this will give you a reason to stay hydrated and not only rely on it for hunger purposes.
• Energy drinks last for 300 seconds and provide a 100% stamina boost. Compared to a much higher stamina boost but only for 40 seconds.
• Energy drinks also make all actions consume 10% less stamina.
• Vodka antiradiation effect last longer but is weaker and the penalties of consuming it are higher, drunkness and stamina penalty prolonged. You will need antirads medicine to deal with truly deadly radiation, vodka wont cut it.
• Antirads medicine buff prolonged.
Being a well fed and hydrated operator now will truly give you an edge.
Installation
Add the .pak file to the following folder (if the ~mods folder doesn't exist, create i, yes it needs the ~):
