About this mod
Want to use your HUD/compass, but only sometimes? Don't want to enter the options menu to enable the HUD/compass whenever you want to take a screenshot? This mod lets you toggle the entire HUD on or off during gameplay using the INSERT key, or toggle only the Compass on or off using the END key.

~SolidShadow's Toggleable HUD~
~What's it do?~
This mod allows you to toggle the Head's Up Display (HUD) ON or OFF during gameplay by using the INSERT key on your keyboard.
It also allows you to turn ON or OFF just the Compass UI at the top of the screen during gameplay using the END key.
This is a new version of my previous mod that did the same thing, except this time, no external scripting plugins that crash the game frequently (UE4SS) are needed! The mod now auto-loads into the game at runtime after first installing thanks to the Simple Mod Loader by KeinZantezuken.
~Files~
1. HUD_Toggle_P: contains the needed files for the mod, of which there are three, in the .pak, .ucas, and .utoc file formats
~Requirements~
1. Simple ModLoader and Console Enabler: Required in order to run the mod.
!!!MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THE SIMPLE MOD LOADER PROPERLY BEFORE INSTALLATION; IF THE MOD DOESN'T WORK, ITS PROBABLY BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE THE MOD LOADER INSTALLED CORRECTLY!!!
~Installation~
1. Download Simple ModLoader and Console Enabler and install it according to the README
2. Download HUD_Toggle_P.zip
3. Place HUD_Toggle_P.zip inside the `LogicMods` folder that the Simple Mod Loader install should've created. It will be located at this directory:
[YourSteam/GamePassFolder]...\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl\Stalker2\Content\Paks\LogicMods
If the `LogicMods` folder was not created by Simple Mod Loader, you can create it at the same directory listed above.
3. Unzip HUD_Toggle_P.zip into the LogicMods folder. You should see three files:
4. Run the game and load a save.
5. Once you are loaded and playing, press the tilde ~ key TWICE (key under the Escape key) on your keyboard to open the console.
6. In the console, enter the following command exactly as shown below (you can copy and paste directly into the console, too) and press Enter:
If you did it right, you should see a Success message in the console. Close the console again with the tilde ~ key and try pressing INSERT and END to hide/show the HUD/Compass respectively.
7. Enjoy! The mod will auto load from here on out and you won't need to use the console again for it.
~Compatibility~
This mod is compatible with all other mods as it is a Blueprint mod and does not modify any game files.
