Simple HUD toggle using ReShade
WHAT YOU NEED:
ReShade ver 5.0.2 with full add-on support (or above), link here
INSTALLATION:
1 - Install ReShade 5.0.2 or above if you don't have it yet (The version i use is 5.8.0, so it's the one i recommend) and run the setup on the desired game, in this case, it's Spider-Man: Web of Shadows.
2 - Download the files at this mod page, then go to the game folder and place the ShaderToggler.addon and the ShaderToggler.ini there, it has to be the same folder as your Reshade 5.0.2, usually where your game.exe file is, if properly installed.
3 - Launch the game and use HOME to acess the ReShade menu, go to the "Add-Ons" tab and check if the Shader Toggle is on, if not, turn it on, now use BACKSPACE to toggle the HUD on or off (to change to a different hotkey, choose "Edit" under ShaderToggler to pick a new hotkey).
UNINSTALLATION:
Simply delete ShaderToggler.ini
OBS:
1 - There's 2 different presets, because disabling the shader for the combo bar actually disables some other stuff from the game too, so whenever you see something missing or broken, toggle of the combo bar preset without turning the whole HUD on, they're both on BACKSPACE, so you'll have to change the hotkey for the Combo Bar preset.
2 - This mod disables the black screen transitions for the cutscenes and the inputs for the quick time events, so it's recommended to toggle it on for cutscenes.
Special thanks to Frans Bouma for creating the Shader Toggler.
