RHYTHM OF THE SPIDERVERSE - The STYLISH Animation Pack!


Inspired by ACESS_DENIIED's "Professional Miles Morales" and GuitarVader's "Expressive Animations", this Mod will replace many of the more bland or sloppy web swinging related animations with more stylish ones! As well as add all kinds of flashy poses between actions!
Tricks and movements that have absurd amounts of SAUCE!

How it works:

I've broken it down into 3 parts:

-----PART 1: Web Swinging (WS): Zips, Swing Jumps & Releases, Air Dodges-----

1 WS - High Jumps & Release
These are the animations you get when pressing jump or releasing a web at the very top of a web swing (when you see your spidey put their legs up and bend their knees).
You'll get different animations if you press jump vs just releasing the swing button.


2 WS - Mid Jumps Long
Jump Animations from the middle of a web swing when going fast enough. The middle of web swing is right when your spidey kicks their legs forward during the swing but before the knee bend. (If you release a web when going too fast you'll get a "Mid Long Jump" instead of a mid release so keep that in mind. tryna fix that)


3 WS - Mid Jumps
Jump animations from the middle of a web swing when going slower. (Harder to do with Traversal speed mods so these will become rare)


4 WS - Low Releases
Jump or Release (Doesn't matter which, they're the same for low for some reason) animations from any point from the VERY start of pressing the swing button up to the point before the legs are kicked forward.
Press Jump to gain a little bit of height, release swing to do a falling version, and VERY quickly tap and release swing to strike a low release pose without actually shooting a web (need to have a swing target in range for this to work)


4.5 WS - Two Step Addon
These are triggered during "Hand to Hand" (H2H) mode. When your spidey is swinging from one hand to the other quickly.
H2H mode is triggered by chaining together multiple low jumps or releases in rapid succession.
To cancel H2H mode either do any none swinging action or
JUMP out of a web swing AFTER the low release point.


5 WS - Mid Releases
Same as Mid Jumps but for releasing the swing button.
(Highly influenced by speed. Going too fast will often give you mid jumps and mid long jumps despite not pressing jump. Tryna see about fixing that.)



6 WS - Air Dodge Tricks
Replaces the Air Dodge animations with tricks! 2 versions of the Forward Dodge and Curly Fry side dodges!
Personal favorite of mine. Super raw and disrespectful to thugs in combat lol.
(Doing a side dodge too low to the ground will cause you to slide and spin along the floor for a short time, which personally I think looks dope but just keep that in mind if you don't like it.)



7 WS - Auto Tricks
These will replace the Air 1, Air 2, and Air 3 State Animations as well as the transitional falling animations afterward with Poses and trick loops. "Air States" are the transitional animations Spidey goes into after other traversal animations end with him in the "neutral air state".
So basically any time you aren't doing anything but aren't in a SkyDive or FastFall state. 
(These wont trigger if you're too close to the ground)

-Forward Air Dodges will always trigger Air 1 (Look back into curly fry loop)
-Side Air Dodges will trigger air 2 (Look back into Windmill)
-Still haven't Figured out what triggers Air 3 yet lol


8 WS - Air Web Zips
Replaces the more bland standard web zips with flashier ones and a few Trick variations sprinkled in!
These are triggered when zipping from the "Air" state which is anytime you are NOT:

-in the "SkyDive" (SD) State (called Free Fall Dive in-game)
-in the "FastFall" (FF) State (called Bullet Dive & Downfall Dive in game)
-In the "ReverseFall" (RF) State (The Backwards Dive, duh)

(I know the Air, SkyDive, and Fastfall thing is confusing but blame the devs for the weird naming conventions lol)



8.1 WS - SkyDive Web Zips
Replaces the Web Zips done while in the "SkyDive" (SD) State.
The limbs out falling pose aka the Forward Manual Dive Trick (called "Free Fall Dive" in-game)
SkyDive State is also triggered by certain web zips and web releases.

You can force these zip animation quickly by pressing the Dive Button and Web Zipping QUICKLY After.
There's a specific timing to it though, too early and you'll get in a Air Zip, too late and you'll get a FastFall Zip. Wait about a quarter of a second before zipping!


8.2 WS - FastFall Web Zips
Replaces the Web Zips done while in the "FastFall" (FF) and "ReverseFall" (RF) States.
(aka the Dive Button Mode. Called "Bullet Dive" and "Reverse Dive" in-game)

You can force these zip animation quickly by pressing the Dive Button and the Web Zipping SHORLY After.

There's a different timing than the SkyDive Zip. Too early and you'll get in a SkyDive Zip.
Wait at least a third to half second before zipping!




-----PART 2: Parkour (PK): So far just Point Launches (HandSprings)-----

1 PK - Point Launches:
Replaces 3 of the Point Launch (HandSpring) poses with ones that aren't floppy or flailing. (Using just this will only give you 2 possible point launch animations unless you use the trick addon below.)

1.5 PK - Launch Tricks
Adds Trick Variants to the Point Launches for a total of 4 different launches!

2 PK - Pole Spring
 This replaces the Point Launch done after spinning on a pole with an upside down flip
(Which I've nicknamed the "Gwen Flip" lol)


-----PART 3: Tricks (TK): So far just Trick Outros-----

1 TK - Forward Trick Outros
Replaces the floppy transitional animation after ending a forward trick with a fun little flare pose!
Triggered by releasing the trick button during "Ball Mode Tricks" 
(aka front pike and cannonball)

2 TK - Back Trick Outros
Same as above but for backward "Style Mode Tricks" (Aka Inverse Flip and Miles Special)
Replaces them with the Downfall Dive trick.
a little choppy at times but if you time it well it looks fine.

This also lets you do regular Tricks and Web Zips out of the Downfall Dive animation since it counts as "Air" state and not "FastFall" State.

Install which ever parts you want and skip ones you don't!
