About this mod

Adds haptic effects for "Space Pirate Trainer" in the bhaptics Tactsuit models and Tactosy for arms and hands. Effects include heartbeat on low health, shooting, and getting hit.

Requirements
 
  • MelonLoader (ideally get the newest version >=v0.5.3, or <=v0.4.3, the early 0.5 versions have some issues with this game): https://melonwiki.xyz/

Installation

  • Download and install MelonLoader (and the requirements for it if needed) into the game's directory. By default, this will be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Space Pirate Trainer VR\", you might have to adjust the first part of the path.
  • Run the game once so the mod can make its folder structure. You can quit right out of it.
  • Download and extract the zip file of this mod into the "Mods" subdirectory of your game directory (see above).
  • You are done, just start the bhaptics Player and then the game how you normally would.

Description

This mod communicates with the bhaptics gear when certain events are detected in "Space Pirate Trainer" to give you haptic feedback. These are some of the currently implemented haptic effects:

  • Heart beat when low on health
  • Shooting bullets, grenades, and lasers
  • Shield vibrations
  • Activating melee weapon
  • Getting hit
