SpaceFood production and Vending Machine. New Nutrient Paste, Mystery Meat, and Space Candy.
Updated and rebalanced for SpaceHaven 0.18.x !
SPACEFOOD:
You can now assign SpaceFood in the Kitchen, so that crew can get the kitchen bonus from spacefood!
And you can now make SpaceFood at the Food Processor!
VENDING:
The vending machine stretches SpaceFood over multiple meals, but the nutrition is lower than eating a crate or eating it in the kitchen.
Vending only takes 1 tile, and is much better than Algae Dispensor in every way.
The kitchen is still prefered.
NEW FOODS:
Nutrient Paste is high nutrition and saves on storage space, great for kitchen use, 10 meals per crate easy.
Mystery Meat is interesting in both trade and kitchen, providing more nutrition than Artificial Meat but with small toxins.
Space Candy is high carb with no nutrition, but high trade value. If the kitchen is down, crew may go for this instead of healthier options, to their detriment!
TRADE:
New gameplay to buy-low-and-sell-high!
Civilians produce Nutrient Paste, Merchants sell it too, Military buys it high.
Merchants and Cult sell Mystery Meat, Pirates and Slavers buy it high.
Merchants sell Candy, Civilians buy very high, Pirates and Slavers also pay well.
Androids have no interest in these, but will sell any they have.
You usually make a higher profit by making these trade goods, but simply profiting from trade is now possible.
KNOWN BUGS:
The UI for the Food Processor in the Research page is bugged, because the game doesn't like so many ingredients going into making SpaceFood or Nutrient Paste.
