Lonesome Road Released

  • Comment
The last major DLC for Fallout New Vegas has now been released on PC and is available for download via Steam.

The price is currently listed as US$9.99 (which we all know really means $10 - do they think anyone actually falls for odd pricing).

The Xbox version was available for download before the PC version.

The final two DLCs will be weapon and item mods. Courier's Stash due to be released seven days from now. It will add all the initial items that were available for pre-ordered versions. Gun Runners Arsenal will also be released next week and will contain slighty more substantial weapons, weapon modifications, ammo, and recipies. Courier's Stash will sell for $1.99 and Gun Runners Arsenal will sell for $3.99 so together combined with Lonesome Road you can save 3 cents.

Loaded a save just before I agreed to go to the damn and completed the Lonesome Road. Went back to the Lucky casino where all my companions are and I can only get one companion to go with me. The essential companion mod didnt work for me at that point. <img class=">
I did the Lonesome Road again and same thing, only 1 companion <img class=">
Other than that I rather enjoyed the Lonesome Road.
I actually counted 606 lootable containers/corpses before I lost track of em. The amount of desks, military shipping containers and such is crazy.
I killed Ulysses the first time and the second time he was friendly. I ended up getting all the loot from him twice ! His body and then in the footlocker.
I would like to see whats behind those 2 doors at the end, no key though.

For people who are experiecning the crash upon entering Divide, here is the fix for it:

    http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=44129

the actual problem has to do with the music files in your game data.

This plug in alters the lines with PlayMusic function to be commented out.

    I hated it sadly.
As someone earlier mentioned, it was a huge snooze fest in my opinion.
The story was pretty dull and over dramatized, the voice acting was pretty meh. I ended up skipping through all of the dialogue and playing through it. Though as No Mutants said, the gameplay was mostly shooting. I really enjoyed the destructible environments feature in it, but otherwise I didn't really enjoy this at all. I'd probably have to put this last on my DLC list.

I'm really disappointed with the DLC they've released for Vegas, I've found most of the large quest mods to be better than the DLC. Oh well..

I enjoyed it. The antagonist is not a great character, nor is his voice actor a great actor, nor is the story a great story. I have many questions about this dlc, however, I enjoyed it when all was said and done. I believe there is no best dlc, they are all different as are we, but I DO know that it is not Dead Money

Just FYI to any who read my series of posts awhile back. I have fixed my problems, but I don't think my fix will apply to most people - it turns out I just had way too much stuff in the data folder. To fix the problem, I simply had to remove back-ups, saves and unused mods from the Data file. Once I did that, the game started recognizing mods again. To those who offered support or who tried to help, thank you.

I liked it overrall. The setting was awesome, but the story could have used a pre DLC explaining some of the couriers past or something. The playthrough was flawless - no bugs, crashes. But...
After completion I tried returning to the LR, and half the ground is missing and there are the infamous "!"s all over the place. It's weird as I had no issues on the playthrough. Further more I can't access my main menu, I can only save via Quick saves or autosaves after I've reentered. Any solutions? :S
And I just found out that it doesn't actually save the quciks and autos - and When i go back to the Mojave IT got the "!"s and missing textures.
