This is the Spaceship of the Imagination from Carl Sagan's Cosmos series!
Usage Notes:
- You must have some form of antialiasing on when viewing this ship, either FXAA or MSAA (8 or higher). It doesn't look right without it.
- You must have bloom on and preferably set to a value of 0.500 as it was designed to look best at this setting, though values ranging 0.300 and 0.800 should all look somewhat decent.
- The model is black when lights are turned off. This is not a bug.
- It has normal engines and aerodynamics are enabled, but it might make more sense to fly this ship with the UFO cheat on ;)
Original mesh and textures by me (HarbingerDawn), based on Carl Sagan's Spaceship of the Imagination from Cosmos: A Personal Voyage.
You are free to use this for any non-commercial purposes, just cite me as the author of the model and Cosmos as the author of the design.
Installation:
Simply extract the contents of the .zip archive into your SpaceEngine addons folder.
