Quiet GPS is a mod that completely disables the audio from the GPS in game!

Quiet GPS is a sound mod for Sons of the Forest that completely disables the high pitched dinging sound of the GPS as you get closer to trackers on the map.
This is an accessibility mod for those with high sound sensitivity, or for those who want to silence the GPS entirely.
The original sotf_sfx_medium was unpacked using FmodBankTools and the "tracker".wav files were all edited in Audacity to be silent, but some of the sounds may still remain. If you have any issues please feel free to contact me on Discord at @b33rsy to let me know if they need re-editing, but I did what I could.
Quiet GPS Mod installation instructions:
1. Unzip and copy Silent_GPS.bank to your SotF installation directory (SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Sons Of The Forest\SonsOfTheForest_Data\StreamingAssets)
2. Make a backup of sotf_sfx_medium, so you can revert if you need to, or if the game gets updated.
3. Rename Silent_GPS.bank to sotf_sfx_medium.bank. Enjoy your Quiet GPS!
