This mod adds a Fake Gold Slime, which is the same as Gold Slime in every aspect other than the Plort price. Its plorts are worthless.

This mod adds the This mod adds a Fake Gold Slime, which looks identical to the normal Gold Slime, is just as rare and also flees quickly. However It's fake because It isn't made from gold but from pyrite (so-called "fool's gold) and because of that It's plorts are basically worthless.

Slimeology:
Fake Gold Slime is a rare slime found throughout the Far Far Range. Like Gold Slime, Fake Gold Slime is golden in color and only appears for a short time, but its plorts are much less valuable than those produced by standard Gold Slime. Unlike regular Gold Slime, it is not made of gold but of Pyrite (so-called fool's gold).
Rancher Risks:
Fake Gold slimes produce same risk as Gold Slimes (read further in Gold Slime's slimepedia page). However they're even worse, because they're basically worthless.
Plortonomics:
Fake Gold Plorts have shockingly lot of uses. They are mostly used in jewelry to replace gold or mixed with gold. It's also popular among mineral colectioners because of Its appealing look.
