Reading the comments section of those reviews many PC gamers have commented that they may now pass on Dawnguard, or at best, wait for the GOTY edition.
i swear i've never had such a love hate relationship with either a game or a game studio (maybe diablo, but i loved diablo 2 forever and hated diablo 3, well since it was released, stupid blizzard >:I)
hey ho, back to mods i go, i guess i must wait
im going for a cigarette to relax >
plus they only removed features that wernt aplicable to their current system, would break the game, or just don't work;
GFX arn't everything and the game looks just fine without dx11 or hd textures, and still sounds amazing, as for the hd textures they did make: well exuse them for giving;
and there is still heavy emphasis on skill building, just not number crunching, wich people exploited the hell out of; and classes arn't neccisary, never where, so they decided to not shoe horn you into set builds and just let you play the way you wan't, if you want to be a cerntain class, just play as one, you don't need a piece of paper telling you what to do; and spell makeing was another system that was heavily exploited, plus with stats removed most of the system was pointless anyway
most of these systems were based on the D&
now pay attantion cause this parts important:
if you think morrowind and oblivion are the better games, then go back and play them, noone took them away from you when skyrim came out, the're still there, but dont tell bethesda that they can't experiment and try new things, because if they can't then whats the point. Noone was betrayed here, the core concepts of TES are still there, skyrim is still an open world fantasy game that you can play however you want, go where ever you want, to your own pace, all they did was remove systems they felt got in the way of that
but instead you see things you like not in this game so you imediatly cry foul and call it dumbing down
p.s. I know my grammar and spelling are atroucious, just bare with it, I tried my best
The entire game was dumbed down... Did you even play Morrowind? Or Oblivion?
It's not jumping to a conclusion when you remove several abilities, don't bother with dx11, turn the game into full action with little concentration on skill building, remove classes, remove the persuasion/relationship system, and remove SPELL MAKING.
Not only that, but this game didn't even have the proper RAM support which caused tons of crashing, took over a month to allow over 48k HZ audio, still hasn't fixed the UI, released slightly better textures that were not and still are not as good as the ones modders made.
They even delayed the Creation kit like crazy, and it's not even that different from Oblivion's Construction Kit.
I didn't say they were evil, you're just throwing words into my mouth and then calling me an idiot. IF ANYONE made an assumption here it's you for assuming I think Bethesda is evil and have no reasons to back up my theory on the increasing casual focus. I said I was annoyed that they care more about the money than the community, which I then said, isn't surprising. Yes, it's pretty damn obvious that they're in it for the money, hardly any companies think the fanbase is more important, or at least think that catering to fans will give more profit *cough* Valve *cough*.
I hope you're 'pissed off' at yourself now. And instead of calling someone an idiot, you could, y'know, ask why they think what they do. There's no need for hostility here.
stop jumping to conclusions, there is absolutly no evedence of a casual focus, so we get it a month later and they get a beta, BIG f*#@ing DEAL, I don't give a rats-ass when I get it so long as I get it, bethesda/zenimax are not evil for for doing the exlusive, the're smart for it, everyone still gets the DLC and they get some more funding
I swear, idiotic assumtions piss me off
