Hoping that you return some day and finish this awesome looking mod! Capital Windhelm Expansion is incredible and one of the best things you did with that was reimagining the exterior of the city & really giving it the size and scope of a major city from the outside. If you do return to finish your Riften project, one great idea you should consider is adding to the exterior. Riften used to be a much larger city before it was burnt to the ground roughly 80 years before we first enter its gates. The only thing that survived were the stone structures, so it would make sense that the much larger city likely had a much bigger network of walls that are now no longer officially part of the city, but instead have become a network of crime-infested slums that the guards can't even patrol. Shacks and tents set up in a shanty-town-like fashion crudely attached to the crumbling walls of a once great neighborhood of Riften. Among the thugs fighting over a septim and unconscious skooma addicts sprawled through its muddy corridors, you can find another entrance to the Ratway as well as some less-reputable fences to sell your stolen goods to. This addition would really help sell the idea that this once great city truly has been burdened by rampant crime and poverty, and that the city has fallen into disarray much like the Thieves Guild itself has. I've always wanted a mod that could highlight this aspect of the city, and you seem like the best one to do it.
Had no idea where to comment this but I hope you come back to finish this, and are safe currently. I really loved your Whiterun and Windhelm mods because they actually extended the cities rather than just cluttering them like many mods and remember being excited for Riften too last year.
oooh! looking nice so far! are there plans to remake the other two major cities sometime in the future? it'd be sick to have a complete package of these!
