Hi! I've been having some issues getting together set up when creating my own server. I've tried with and without Hamachi with and without port forward. My friends and I can manage to log into our own and public servers, but we can't link to each others servers. We've tried everything we can find online regarding tutorials and haven't figured out what's happening...
Any help would be appreciated as this has been something we've always wanted to do.

    Thank you in advance!

Does this work on Oldrim/Legendary edition? I downloaded the Harbor app and it ONLY looks for SkyrimSE. I think it's so profoundly foolish and shortsighted if they are only making this available for SE edition. The standard edition is taxing enough on the average computer that we already need to lower display settings and resolutions to get it to run smoothly without lag. Most of us do not own super high end, $2,000+ gaming pc's. Also, Skyrim standard has tons more mods.

my pc is 5 years old and it costed 600 euro at store (when i bough it 5 years ago, and it was almost previous gen at that time) it runs skyrim legendary on max settings 60+ fps usualy near 80 but i limited fps to calm down the physics of game, and my special edition is running on above medium at about 60 fps, again i limited to 60 for same reason, have quite few mods but no enb's or weather overhauls. so yea 2000 dolar mac can NOT handle skyrim vanila on low (sarcasm). did you instaled hd texture pack from bethesda? if yes then you have almost special edition requirements for the computer AND quite bit of additional bugs and less optimization than special or even base skyrim

Skyrim is taxing? Are you joking? Even a 300 dollar pc today could run that game even the special edition isn't that more taxing. If you're trying to game on intel integrated graphics- there's your problem. Most people playing skyrim have at least a semi-decent computer.

Yeah I dunno what pc you're running pal, an Xbox 360 can run Skyrim. I have a $700 pc and it can run pretty much anything on high settings, so the statement that you need a $2,000+ gaming pc is completely ridiculous. If you have to lower display settings and your resolution to get it to run smoothly without "lag" then my guy you need an upgrade because you're running on a 1998 IBM machine.

I have a $300 pc from new parts and it can run this game at max settings with 720p 60+fps, high settings with 900p 60+fps and medium with 1080p 50+fps with integrated graphics (Vega 8). If I got even a $125 graphics card (making my pc worth $425) I could run a good amount of new games at high settings 1080p and I could run this game maxed out with garanteed more than 60fps. I have 16gb ram at 2400mhz too. A $2000 pc is not needed at all and if you can't run this game at 720p without lag you NEED an upgrade to play games decently. That or switch to console.

Dude it isn't 2003 anymore. Making dumb comments about needing "super high end $2,000 gaming PCs" went irrelevant like 10 years ago. I built my current rig for 800 bucks and it runs every AAA title on the market today at full HD on all ultra/max settings. Maybe learn a bit about computers before you make yourself look this dumb online.

No of course not. You can't install software on a Xbox.

Well, actually you can install things on an Xbox, but not in the way of this person's intention.

So I have a question about something with this mod, say I have a unique outfit mod installed and I am wearing it, how will I appear in other players games? Will I be running around "naked" (whatever that means in their game) or will the mod default something to approximate... like DXDeserter's Red Riding Hood outfit is light armor of the elven tier, so would it show as elven armor, or would I be as I said running around "naked" to everyone else?  I do understand they won't see the Red Riding Hood outfit unless they also have the mod.

i haven't actually tested or tried this bear in mind, so take what i'm about to say with a grain of salt. or the whole shaker since i'm about to give you some "he says she says" explination

i haven't used skyrim together with mods but a friend that has claims it's all good and fine everything should work as normal. BUT the items you're wearing will not *display* for other players. IE yes you will be running around naked to them if they don't have the mod that adds your clothes. and if they have a.. ehum "fleshy" mod then you will be NAKED. but you'll still have red riding hood's AC/enchantments.

(which brings up the question what happens to mods that affect the environment? like legacy of the dragonborn)

as long as every player in your lobby has that exact mod, and how you modified it, they can see it. i recommend copying your mods file location and sending it to your friends

but if not, you will appear in your underwear

mods are mainly cliuentside so unless both of you have the same mod, they will not see your cosmetics.

someone started dawnguard and finished with the friend :?
because it is impossible to have two seranas in the same place.
I read somewhere, that the companion only works for those who speak first ..
I believe that it is not possible to end the DLC with the mod Together ... if you are with serana, in the same place, and your friend too, one of them will disappear.

is there any way to fix this?

Okay so my biggest question is: IF two people have identical load orders, will their games look the same? will characters appear the same in both games?

what has been tested with mods like genesis, SOT or immersive creatures? Will the same mobs spawn for both parties? Is this designed for vanilla or modded or both?
(again assuming the same load order. )
I have many other questions but these are the basics that I would like to know!

thankyou for giving us this opportunity!
