About

I play video games for fun, to get away from reality.

The world we all live in.

I like taking screenshots as well.

And since this is meant to be an "About Me" page I'll tell you a bit about me.

I (a 20 year old human being) started playing video games when I was about 6 years old. The platforms I played on back then consisted of a PlayStation 2 and a laptop lacking the ability to connect to the internet. The games I played? Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings and StarCraft (with the Brood War expansion) on the laptop, and Star Wars Battlefront II on the PlayStation 2. Of all the things I remember from my childhood playing these games on their respective platforms are both the most vivid and most joyful.

Later on when I was around 9 my family got a Wii. This was when I played my first FPS by myself...Call of Duty 3. To this day I still have fond memories of that game. The opening where I was put through a small training course, to being loaded into the back of a truck that gets hit by artillery. Clearing out the church, and then not being able to progress due to my small mind not knowing how to open the binoculars to rain down some of my own artillery. Oh man, good times...

This was then followed by Call of Duty: Black Ops. The game that introduced me to many of the most used words in my vocabulary to this day. Also, Daddy Reznov, Papa Woods, and Mwister Mwason...

Now we're cooking with fire, around 13 years of age I got an Xbox 360. Oh boy! The catch? No online. Did I care? No! At this point in time all I had ever played were single player or local coop games. Online play was something I didn't even know existed yet. So what games did I play on this console? Too many to name. Although there are a few honorable mentions. Call of Duty: World at War. mOAr dADdY REzNoV!!!...Red Dead Redemption, Need for Speed: Rivals, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, The Xbox Ripoff of Wii Sports, and Aliens: Colonial Marines. Funny thing about Aliens Colonial Marines, it was the first game I bought DLC and microtransactions in...as well as being one of the first games I played online.

After that I got an Xbox One around 15 years of age and then eventually an Xbox One X. These two were just average. I played games and had fun. The thing is at this point I was wanting to get into PC gaming. I just wasn't able to at the time. However that being said, I still played games on PC. They ran like crap and looked terrible. Yet I found myself enjoying them more so than I did the games I owned on my console. Why? I don't really know. I just did.

And to cut this seemingly long and quite boring recap of my time playing video games short, I got a gaming PC a little over a year ago. Tis quite LIT!

Some basic info about me i.e. what I like:
