What is 'Trees in Cities'?
Trees in Cities attempts to improve the aesthetic of cities by adding trees to the cities of Skyrim. Yes, there are many mods which add trees to the cities, but they tend to overhaul the entire city to the point that they do not really feel like the original city. This compliments the cities rather than completely change them. This mod adds trees and flora to the most important of locations within each city. Despite this mod mostly adding trees, flora such as shrubs and flowers are placed too to make the areas around the trees seem less empty. This makes the trees blend in more. This mod was originally available for Skyrim, but has now been ported and works properly with the Special Edition.

Which cities are covered?
The main large cities, so:
  • Whiterun
  • Windhelm
  • Riften
  • Markarth
  • Solitude

What is this mod compatible with?
There is no compatibility for the mod 'Open Cities', as this edits the exterior worldspace cells for the vanilla game. This mod should be compatible with 'Lush Grass and Trees' and 'Skyrim Flora Overhaul'. This mod should work with other city overhaul mods, but clipping and incorrect object placements may occur. It is at your own risk that you use other city mods with this mod.

I want to use a different mod for one city but this mod for the rest. How can I do that?
These mods were all once uploaded separately, but I decided to just keep it to the separate ESP files and keep this mod as one combined singular package.

What about the smaller cities, Morthal, Falkreath and Dawnstar?
The main reasons for not doing these cities are because these cities either have trees in them already or are in a location where trees are scarce. I see no need in completing these cities as their style sticks to the 'farmhouse' style designated in the Creation Kit, so I'd rather not change these and leave these up to the player.

Can I use these mods at all for my own overhaul mod?
As long as I am credited for whatever you create using this mod, you may use it.
