I love your mod, but it really sucks that cooking raises alchemy skill. I can totally understand alchemy skill increase from mixing potions but from cooking meats? It completely devalues the alchemy skill tree imo. Was this by design or was it something that had to be done in order to allow the mixing of potions?
It's not a big deal, anyone can go into SSEEdit and change the skill usage so it doesn't.
It's not required for the mod to function at all, I just figured it was a nice extra for those who use the feature a lot. If you don't agree or want to have it add experience to the skill its a simple edit to remove as you mentioned.
That mod looks fairly similar to my mod which is... interesting. My mod does allow for improving conversion ratios for the potions as your Alchemy skill rises so that is one difference.
Alchemy skill for cooking food is the best side effect of this mod. I loved it before, but now that I know it's what's doing that...I love it even more
Funny enough, a friend of mine recently got the game and I've been doing a lot of looking into "what mod I installed that does XYZ...5 years ago?" for him.
Great looking mod, but just want to make those who use (or want to use) CACO aware, this feature is essentially included as CACO already lets you distill potions/poisons into more powerful versions at stations and with the retort tool.
