About this mod

Retexture of the "Blindfolds of Skyrim" mod that gives them a look that should hopefully look less out-of-place when using modern clothing replacers

This is a simple retexture of the Blindfolds of Skyrim mod, which has been a staple in my load order for years because blindfolds are cool.

The textures that come with the mod fit the vanilla style perfectly, but if your character is loaded with crazy new body textures, high poly hairs and 800mb armors, then they're probably gonna stick out like a sore thumb.
The mod also came with colour variants, which were way too vivid in my opinion (it was particularly noticeable if you distribute the blindfolds to NPCs). So, I figured it's time to update the mod.

What it requires:
What it does:
  • New (2K / 1K / 512) diffuse textures for all blindfold variants
  • Upscaled and cleaned normal map
  • (optional) ESL-ify and Form 44 the .esp
  • Nifty FOMOD so you can pick it all in your favourite mod manager

What it doesn't do:
  • Subdivide the meshes (didn't think it was necessary, but might do it later on)

Installation:
  • Load it after, or overwrite/merge, the original mod
