I love the look of this, but... if it's not an ESL, then I can't justify it. Sorry. Too small an addition when there are quest mods I could be installing.
Definitely one of the most impressive additions to Dragonsreach. Only problem is because it narrows the walkway, NPCs try to walk through it and obviously can't get by.
I agree that the opening looks too small. Also, there are no carvings on the other side and that makes it look strange and out of place when leaving Dragonsreach. The asymmetrical aspect is way more noticeable from this view. Good job on the texture design, though.
She had followed her Father's footsteps into Skyrim. He left Mother and herself to fulfill a dream that Ulfric had spun at a campfire one night long ago. He had talked of Nord history and pride of their ancestry. 4 yrs later ,she followed him into conflict. After Helgen she walked into Dragonsreach and stood in awe at the Portal she must walk through. Here was the History of her people. Here was the Pride of the Nord people made real, the heritage old beyond measure, for all to witness. Humbled she stared upward at the massive Portal, struck by the antiquity of Norse History. She slowly walked beneath the Carved colossus, feeling all her ancestors lives vibrating in Pride. Balgruff awaited her on his Throne, but she took a moment to realize that her Father had it wrong. Skyrim had help Create the Empire., was the Backbone of it all. Ulfric wanted to seperate all that history and keep it from all others. She vowed then and there to avenge her Father's sacrifice for a False King, and resolved, stepped beneath and through the ancient Masterpiece. Pride kept her legs strong as she reported to the Jarl all she had seen. Ulfric's Day was coming...at her Hand, the Gods willing.
the refusal to not make a lower poly count is really silly honestly, plenty of people want this in their game even if its not up to your standards lmao.
other than that this is amazing and adds that lil xtra unf
OK, OK, the real reason is that I didn't know how to render a low-poly version! I've recently learned how so I'm rendering an ultra-low-poly version of my wallbaskets right now, and a version of this will follow.
well congrats on learning new stuffs! I also use your wallbaskets mod (replacer version since I prob wont manually place any, I'm lazy.) so ill prob grab that in a lower res, but they (and this) are beautiful and add a lot in a small way. especially the wallbaskets, i just wish i got to see more (without having to craft and place them i mean lol.) if you could add another different 'set' of replacers, thatd be awesome. either way, thank ya, and I def look forward to ya work.
EDIT: I actually saw in the comments on the wallbaskets mod that downloading the craftable wallbaskets version not only lets you craft them but also changes up the variety like I was wanting so ill prob just give that a go, I wasn't aware it did anything other than clutter craft list honestly, you should update that description.
