I think because I use alternate start now and don't spawn with the ring, the mcm doesn't actually get rid of it when it's given to me unless I switch the settings.
I think it's skyrim unbound messing with this, as it gives you inventory stuff at the beginning and chances are some script or so is messing with the saved options I have which should have the ring not be in my inventory by default
I was having this issue. After starting a new game without The Circle of Lust installed due to it causing script lag and save game corruption - I'm pretty sure it was that mod anyway - I have the MCM showing for this mod. Maybe another mod is blocking this mod from loading properly if it has a lot of scripts or if it creates a lot of script load. If anyone is having this issue, I suggest starting a new game with minimum mods required for this mod to run, and then keep adding mods until you find ones that might be breaking this mod. Take them away with your next new game until you find the one that is the problem.
The other issue that I was having, I later learned, was that MCM has a limit of 128 mod menus. Whatever loads first gets shown. I ended up installing Menu Maid 2 so that I could have more menus, and I no longer have that issue with my 1251 mods load order.
hey do you happen to have the good old Wearable Lanterns + Unofficial update + a settings loader somewhere, do you? you are the master of settings loaders so where could that one be?
With the ancient ring setting unchecked, I still have the ring added into my inventory on new games. The box is still unchecked on new game, but the ring is still added. Every other setting I change works how it should if toggled.
I'm still getting attacked by wolves and werewolves alike. At first, I thought maybe they're just attacking my horse and it only looks like they're attacking me. Not the case. Relevant mods I have installed are MT Mini, Growl & Growl Tweaks, Werewolves Sharing Is Caring SE and Wicked Werewolves. I have used the 'ancient ring' to access the menu and select wolfkin alliance to be on. I've saved my changes, gone back to ensure it was indeed 'on', and yet, I'm still getting attacked.
Mod load order is as follows regarding werewolf mods: Growl, Growl Tweaks, Sharing is Caring, MT Mini, and WW

Awesome mod btw!
I assume if we did ESL either MTSE or MT Mini, most existing patches would be broken.
I will do loader for it :)
