This mod does not allow compatibility with the anniversary edition and never will.

    4. Start DIP.exe and choose paths (first one should be auto-detected and second one is only necessary if the mod is not at the same location).

What does this mean? I have tried multiple different ways to get this to work.
When I run DIP which is installed through MO2. The first path is empty. The second is the skyrim directory data folder.
I have tried running it as is. Nothing
Switched the first path to the Nordic Minimap UI folder in my MO2 mods folder. Nada
Tried switching First to the same folder and the second to the MO2 overwrite folder. Zelch

So please don't give the well did you read the description. Yes Yes I did but I do not understand which path means what.
Which path goes where? Until I get an answer I'm uninstalling

      1. Minimap, the DIP Patch and DIP have to be activated as mods
      2. Leave first path empty. That's intentional.
      3. If not auto detected, should be the path to the mod folder of the Minimap patcher.

hope that helps, if not feel free to ask. If you get any error or similliar you should provide the log (uploaded to pastebin or similliar)

      Greetings

Thank you for the quick reply! I'll test it out now. Also, sorry if I came off aggressive. I was a bit frustrated.

Alright, so I did and the patch is inside the NORDIC UI - Minimap Patch - DIP folder but the mod in MO2 is still grayed out. I checked the location and the folder went into the Minimap - NORDIC UI - DIP folder. So the File or Folder location looks like:

      C:\Users\[Redacted]\AppData\Local\ModOrganizer\Skyrim Special Edition\mods\NORDIC UI - Minimap Patch - DIP\Minimap - NORDIC UI - DIP\NORDIC UI - Minimap - DIP Patch

This doesn't seem right but, I have no knowledge on this matter.

Edit: Not sure how to check my changelog or even find it. I've not needed that info until now.

somewhere inside the finished patch shall be a "interface" folder including a minimapmenu.swf file. just move the "interface"-Folder containing the file directly into the mod. Should look like this:
      NORDIC UI - Minimap - DIP Patch/
      ├─ interface/
      │ ├─ minimapmenu.swf

And I did not mean changelog, sorry. I meant the log. There is a "copy log" button in the program.

      Thank you! That solved it.

To clarify for anyone with an IQ as low as mine and is also having the same issue using MO2. I do not have the answers for anyone. I am very smoothed brained.

      After you complete your patch:
Right click the mod "NORDIC UI - Minimap Patch - DIP" in MO2
      Open in Explorer
Open the "Minimap - NORDIC UI - DIP" Folder
      Copy the interface folder
Paste it into the "NORDIC UI - Minimap Patch - DIP"

I could be wrong and if I am Wuerfelhusten please correct me. This is what I got from what you said because the patched folder had a interface with a minimapmenu.json file in it but, the folder that was already present in the mod itself had a interface folder in it with a minimapmenu.swf file. Again, Correct me if I'm wrong because, you are the expert here not me.

Double checking I should have an Interface, a shape, and a patch folder in the same folder as the meta.ini file correct???

You will only need the interface folder with the swf. The json and the shapes folders are only required for the patching process. SOmething went wrong wit your patch. Normally, the output should be generated ready-to-use.
But if it works now and you do have an overwrite marked in MO2 you should ge good do go.

Yes, it is showing that is overwriting Minimap.

Also just to double check I reinstalled the mod reran the patch but instead of selecting this mod's folder itself I selected Mo@ entire mods folder and it was still placed in the same spot but, I'll test it to make sure it is in fact working and get back to you when I do.

Hi  Wuerfelhusten, thank you very much for the patch for MiniMap.

Sorry for the inconvenience, you would be so kind, please make a MiniMap patch for "Dear Diary - Paper SkyUI Menus Replacer SE"
I understand that you created 2 patches for Nord UI and Untarnished UI, but I guess these will not work for the one I mentioned.

I would greatly appreciate it   🙏

The steps to patch with DIP are explained in this modpage's description and in DIP's modpage description.

      4. Start DIP.exe and choose paths (first one should be auto-detected and second one is only necessary if the mod is not at the same location).
      5. Click on "Patch!".
      6. After success, a message box appears and DIP can be deactivated.
MO2: the output will be generated in the overwrite folder
