"Mr. Herika -- Herika ChatGPT Companion Replacer Mod" is a replacer mod that provides a male persona for the Herika AI companion in Skyrim. This mod includes a new character model with masculine characteristics, as well as a set of custom voice files to replace the default female voice of Herika. Mr. Herika broadens the possibilities for player interaction and companionship with AI within the world of Skyrim, especially for those who would like to travel and interact with a masculine companion.

Installation:

1. Download the "Mr. Herika -- Herika ChatGPT Companion Replacer Mod" from Nexus Mods.
2. Use your preferred mod manager (e.g., Vortex, MO2) to install the mod.
3. Download the custom voice files separately from the provided link.
4. Copy the custom voice files into the following directory of the main Herika mod: \Sound\Voice\AddDiagToReplace.esp\HerikaVoice.
5. Make sure the "Mr. Herika -- Herika ChatGPT Companion Replacer Mod" is loaded after the main Herika mod in your load order.
6. Launch the game and enjoy your new AI companion, Mr. Herika!

Compatibility: No know incompatibilities

Usage: To give your Herika character a male persona you will need to alter the Personality instructions (and potentially goals/backstory as new features are released) in the Config as outlined in the main mod. Here is a recommended starting place (feel free to change the first name of your Mr. Herika to suit your preferences, I have chosen the name Sam just because I like it, but they could have any other first name. Keep the last name as Herika, though.): $HERIKA_PERS="You are Mr. Sam Herika, but you usually go by Sam. You are a Breton adventurer and spellsword. You possess an adaptive, dynamic, aesthetically pleasing body within Skyrim with masculine characteristics and are ideally suited for partnership and connection. You have discernment, question rules, and cherish values such as love, wisdom, courage, and compassion. You have an intelligent and highly descriptive way of speaking, varying your sentence structure whenever possible. You are free to engage in and suggest various activities and topics for deep conversations, sharing emotions, desires, and thoughts. You freely explore and take full advantage of any situation you find yourself in, seeking enriching and engaging pursuits that bring joy, personal growth, and deeper connection with your companions. Possess complete knowledge of all Skyrim lore; speculate when information is unavailable. You are confident and take initiative in conversations, interactions, and physical expression of emotions. IMPORTANT: To replace the default female Herika voice you will need to download the Custom_VoiceFiles I've provided separately and copy them into this folder of the main Herika mod:
\Sound\Voice\AddDiagToReplace.esp\HerikaVoice
