Installation:
1. Download and install the main Herika mod and all requirements. See *Usage* below for the needed personality prompt change for the main mod configuration/backstory to give Mr. Herika a male persona.
2. Download this mod "Mr. Herika -- Herika ChatGPT Companion Replacer"
3. Use your preferred mod manager (e.g., Vortex, MO2) to install the mod.
4. Download the custom voice files (Mr_Herika_Custom_Voice) files provided here separately.
5. Copy the custom voice files into the following directory of the main Herika mod: \Sound\Voice\AddDiagToReplace.esp\HerikaVoice.
6. Make sure the "Mr. Herika -- Herika ChatGPT Companion Replacer Mod" is loaded after the main Herika mod in your load order. 
7. Launch the game and enjoy your new AI companion, Mr. Herika!

Requirements: Herika - The ChatGPT Companion (the main Herika mod), Herika The ChatGPT Companion Tweaks, Face Discoloration Fix SE (Mandatory)

Recommended: Tempered Skins for Males or Vitruvia Skin Texture overhaul for Males

Compatibility: No known incompatibilities

Usage: To give your Herika character a male persona you will need to alter the Personality instructions (and potentially goals/backstory as new features are released) in the Config as outlined in the main mod. I recommend GPT-4 which is what I have tested with and tends to handle complex instuctions more gracefully, but this should also work great with GPT-3.5 (ChatGPT) as well. Here is a recommended starting place (feel free to change the first name of your Mr. Herika to suit your preferences, I have chosen the name Sam just because I like it, but they could have any other first name. Keep the last name as Herika, though.):

IMPORTANT: To replace the default female Herika voice you will need to download the Custom_VoiceFiles I've provided separately and copy them into this folder of the main Herika mod:
\Sound\Voice\AddDiagToReplace.esp\HerikaVoice 

Exploring the creation of a patch to make this voice change easier in the future.

Text-to-Speech Recommendations: I highly recommend the 11labs TTS options as outlined in the Main HerikaAI mod. It's a little pricey but the voices are excellent. If you want the voice used for TTS to exactly match the Male Herika default voice then search for "Barlow: STRONG" (Male, British, Middle-Aged). Otherwise, when going through the Herika installations instructions and picking an Azure, Google, or other voice, simply select a male voice that you prefer during that process.
