Changelogs
Version 1.12
Safe to update mid-game.
DLL version: This version fixes an issue with the DLL version that wouldn't let the mod work for some versions of the game.
DLL version: It should now work fine with Dialogue History by Po3.
Reminder: These updates are only for the DLL version. The papyrus version continues to work fine and without any issues, so no update is needed there.
Version 1.11
Safe to update mid-game.
The DLL version has been updated to get around a bug that would make it so opening a menu while pressing the shift key could make DAK "stuck" until you pressed shift again. Thanks to Styyx for fixing it so quickly!
Version 1.10
Uploaded a version of DAK that doesn't use Papyrus, but DLL black magic. Big thanks to Styyxus for creating this: https://next.nexusmods.com/profile/Styyxus/about-me
Install the DLL version or the original, not both. It's safe to switch from the main version to the DLL version.
Both versions work fine, the papyrus function is so tiny that it shouldn't be affected by any lag, but it cannot hurt to have it done via the DLL either.
DLL works on all Skyrim versions (except maybe VR? Untested)
You can change the hotkey using the ini included. The list of key codes is here: https://ck.uesp.net/wiki/Input_Script
MCM submods for DAK will not break the game, but you won't be able to change the key with them as it needs to be done in the ini. A future update will enable changing the key in the MCM.
On this note: Styyx has added an API to set keys for the keycodes.
Same as the version before (see below), but now it works with controllers again (lol).
From Version 1.01: Changed the method of detecting when the shift key is no longer pressed, making it compatible with DLL mods that use "Shift + X key" to access their menus. If you were noticing the shift key getting stuck, this update should get it fixed. Might help with other stuff too, give it a try.
Version 1.01
