Changelogs
Version 1.01
Added missing compression to snowstones/_n.
Inspired by Glacies, this is my own take on a bright snow mod to fit personal tastes. While several look similar to Glacies, all textures were recreated from scratch in Quixel Mixer and adjusted for Skyrim requirements in Substance Painter and Photoshop.
All textures are in BC7 4k and have a (subtle) parallax map. This may cause some issues with alpha-tested snow blending e.g. No Snow Under The Roof but shouldn't really be worse than Glacies was. For dynamic snow, Simplicity of Snow or Better Dynamic Snow 2.0 are recommended.
Also included are snow roads textures for Blended Roads and a dirtcliffs mask for ETaC Dawnstar to make them better match the snow.
Available as an optional file are additional copies of the textures that conform to T4's Complex Material standards, for use on Majestic Landscapes meshes or the new Majestic Mountains ENB Parallax edition.
In some ENBs such as NAT, the snow may look too "wet/muddy" and you should adjust the landscape specular values to suit. This could also be apparent at night and may just need slight tweaking per preset.
All screenshots taken with Rudy NAT ENB.
