ABOUT:
Heidi will HATE you when you first meet her. Yeah, she's THAT Heidi. The young apprentice you took on years ago, and then dumped when you got tired of her constant chatter and sass. You absolute KNOB. Well, can't say I blame you much though. She WAS pretty annoying.
As it turns out, you're in luck. She is back where you first met her long ago, the Sleeping Giant Inn at Riverwood. And she has now grown up into a fetching young woman - confident, competent, and a right useful companion that has your back. Talk to her. Be persistent. She has a kind, forgiving soul, and will quickly succumb to your charms.
She heals. She has enchanted weapons. She can call a pack of wolves to protect you and your party. She can be romanced by talking to her, but only in certain locations. Let's just say, if you can't provide her with an adequate home, you aren't going to have a chance. You only get one shot to fly or fail, so choose wisely when the opportunity presents itself.
USAGE:
Uses YOUR installed body type. A FOMOD installer allows you to select between UNP and CBBE compatible textures. A simple default clothing outfit is set that will allow her to equip any armor you give her while following.
The outfits in the screenshots are 3rd party mods, they are not included. The Highlander Armor is by Fuse00. However, a custom-fitted version of this outfit is included in the Director's Cut, thanks to the kind permission of Fuse00.
If you're one of those like me that still has the Sassy version installed, I highly recommend you install the optional version,
her sister Heather. It would be pretty awkward to have both young and older Heidi in the same game. I made the alternate version specifically for this scenario.
The Director's Cut is my personal vision of the character, and uses different textures to give her a slightly different appearance. This version is also the Heather-named variant only, and uses a custom UNP-based body.
OTHER NOTES:
Always make a new save before adding a esl flagged mod to your game. NOT recommended to remove this mid-game. This is why you need to make a save FIRST. Use a mod manager to install and remove.
Do NOT change this mod or ANY custom-sculpted facegen mod in the CK. It will happily add a new set of (very ugly) facegen files to your game upon saving. The CK will also assign id's that are invalid for a esl plugin, which will corrupt your game.
ALWAYS make plugin edits with SSEedit/xEdit. You will have NONE of these issues. If you don't know this program, don't attempt to modify these types of mods. EVER.
Her face, body, and outfits were hand sculpted in Outfit Studio. I do not have any presets, sorry.
The included scripts are one-time, fire and forget fragments to advance your relationship with her.
