There is an esp file here, but there is no esp in the SCROTE mod. This was implemented differently? And can we safely remove this esp? (I'm talking about file "MQ105 Duplicate Script Fix")
That esp is for a separate issue and it's not included in SCROTE, as USSEP 4.3.0 and higher already has it. If you have an older USSEP version installed, feel free to keep using the esp alongside SCROTE.
I appreciate all the fixes. I do have one that may be of interest, during the main quest, usually right before the Karthspire portion of the quest, you can pass by Rorikstead and see Alduin raising a dragon on the south end of town, at a burial mound. 8/10 I have an issue with this scene, Alduin tends to stop halfway through, and the storm that he brings ends up getting stuck, and the dragon never surfaces.
+1 for AIO FOMOD. Between Sounds of Skyrim, Seasons of Skyrim, and ‘Snakes’ of Skyrim, SOS is a crowded marketplace. My vote is for SCROTE. I like how it’s casual while being anatomically correct at the same time, like a doctor would say if they had to deal with that kind of thing a lot. Or you could just call it Script Fixes.
Do you think it’s possible to fix some of the issues with scripts that modding introduced? For instance. Master Arngeir’s script breaks and instead of going out to the courtyard with Master Borri, just goes back to chilling on his chair. My worry is that it isn’t fixable due to the fact that it only happens when you have a lot of script heavy mods
Use LOOT, Xedit, wrye bash for the bashed patch, and/or the smashed patch. Having too many script heavy mods tends to start being problematic. Use all the tools you can, such as those listed, If they don't work, start paring down your mod list. Far better to have less mods then a broken game.
Your best bet would probably be to disable mods until you narrow down whats causing it. Having many script heavy mods can cause weirdness, but it's also possible your issue can be isolated to a single mod, so try that first.
Install the main file. If you load your save in Resaver and see something like the 2nd picture of this mod, install the optional file as well to fix it.
