    • If you downloaded version 1, please re-download! I had the textures in the wrong place, and the update fixes it.

    • Stony and grimy textures are now available as optional files.

So I'm trying to preview the mod using Mod Organizer mesh previewer. When I download the main mod it works fine; however, when I download the 2k grimy version, MO2 crashes. Any ideas why this might be?

All the textures are absolutely stunning. The new Rusty version is just simply... WOW!What would make this mod even better is if you had a version that replaced many of these with the different version of your textures all over Skyrim. Place each version where they would make logical sense. For example; Imperial forts, Nordic ruins and caves will all have the rusty versions. The College of Winterhold and all the court wizards will have the newer shinier versions, and the grimy versions and stone versions will be placed in places that are owned by middle class NPC's. That would make this mod even better!

I agree with this 100% I know it can be done, but not completely sure how.

I know how, it's just time consuming. A mod like this requires a plugin to see any changes. Being plugin based means that it will conflict with other mods and will have to have to be patched. Basically, all mods that change vanilla cells will most likely have to be patched, and any mod that adds new cells will also need to be patched if you want some consistency, otherwise any Soul Gem Stands included in those mods will use which ever default texture is being used.

Have figured it out! Doing some testing and possibly adding additional textures for other locations(dwarven, Snow elven, Forsworn, etc.)
After i get it working nicely if Billyro gives permission i will upload!!

Thanks so much for this - using the stony version and it looks great. These + Gamwich's beautiful soul gems are a treat for the eyes. Highly recommend!

Just a heads up the soulgemstand_m.dds is in L8 format. It's gotta be in R8 or compressed for SSE or it can cause CTDs etc
