Soo ... not counting LotD now ... but i also run JK's Skyrim + Dawn of Skyrim + Bells of Skyrim + Books of Skyrim Redux + Skyrim Sewers. So i assume the best patch to take is the JK's DoS Bells Patch from your FOMOD and then fix up the navmesh for Books and Sewers myself , right ? Or i could just re-install the Windmill mod without navmesh edit , that would save me a couple hours in CK.
Damn, is such a combo patch available somewhere, or is that your own work?
Regarding Sewers, at least the last I checked the original mod didn't actually finalize SolitudeArch even though it adds a door there. So technically Skyrim Sewers does not conflict, but in reality it should.
My own work , based on the old JK's DoS ETAC Cut Compatibility Patches from a couple years ago. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16852?tab=files That contains JK's DoS Bells Patch , from there i added Books of Skyrim Redux , but my navmeshing is relatively poor and i always take hours to do this stuff ... the foundation i build upon was also not the best. In any case i already re-installed the windmill without navmesh , not going to bother with this , nobody will ever actually go there anyways. Same with Sewers , no NPC will ever use those door links , so dont even bother with that either.
Went to update to the last file and noticed options for JK's Skyrim and Skyrim Sewers, but there no combo patch for both. Is one not needed? If not, it's not possible to select both patches.
Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear. In your fomod, there is a patch for Jk's Skyrim and a patch for Skyrim Sewers. If I use both mods, presumably I would need both patches, correct? The fomod doesn't allow you to select more than one patch. There is no combo patch included either, but I don't know if a combo patch is necessary if two individual patches work.
In case I misunderstood your question: no, there is no JK's Skyrim - Skyrim Sewers patch anywhere that I am aware of, but I don't know that one is necessary either.
There is no point in using two patches from my mod, one would fully overwrite the other. If you don't have a combo patch for JK's Skyrim + Skyrim Sewers, just check whichever of them loads last in you LO and pick the corresponding patch from my mod. So if the order of plugins in your LO is Skyrim Sewers.esp Jk's Skyrim.esp then use the patch for JK's Skyrim, and vice versa. The above order is the one I would recommend.
Hello Blackread. I made a plugin to resolve the navmesh issues between 'Dawn of Redbag's - Bells of Skyrim patch' by Czasior and your patch. It can be downloaded here.
Yeah, I know... it's just odd that they showed up as masters as they're only base game for AE (I'm on 1.5.97) and they don't show up as masters for any other plugins in my LO. I tested everything out though and it looks like it's working fine... my follower didn't go up the stairs to the windmill but honestly, it's something I'll likely only do once or twice in my playthrough. Just wanted to bring it to your attention to make sure I hadn't somehow messed up the instillation.
It's because one of the plugins (likely Books of Skyrim.esp) requires USSEP, which requires all the base game plugins. I never deliberately add those as masters, but sometimes they end up there because something else requires them - usually it's USSEP.
Sorry if I didn't see where this is answered but if I have open cities installed should I use the patch provided here, the esp replacer on the main mod page or both of them?
Makes sense, thank you. Do you have a suggestion which patch to use for Domenicus' Open Solitude frankenstein setup? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/70307
