Is it possible to make this mod work so that you regenerate mana while casting any spell? I've been looking for one, but this is the closest I came to finding one.
How come when I override the main file with concentration regeneration, vortex says that I should disable it because it is redundant? Nevermind fixed it
I installed this using Vortex, and it gave me a flag saying "Incompatible plugin" I click on the flag for info and it says "This plugin was created for the original Skyrim and may be incompatible with Skyrim Special Edition. This can cause unforeseen problems during gameplay."
I'm still kind of new on the nexus, so I'm wondering if I should just ignore this warning.

I just need to report something i found. This mod is using Header Form 43, it needs to be Form 44. Using the wrong header can cause unwanted behavior in the game, so as a quickfix for the time i loaded the mod in CK and resaved. And i find this mod essential.
It is a "new game". I just started this play through for my live stream with your mod included in my order. I never paid attention to the fact that I wasn't regenerating while holding a spell till now.
The scripts are there. I have not overlooked anything so trivial. The scripts are present, the mod is installed, the plugins are loaded, nothing else loading after it should have anything whatsoever to do with anything this mod alters, and it's just not doing anything at all.
My only other guess would be that you somehow have high enough script lag. Both versions are working near perfectly for me, I honestly don't know how to help at this point.
So how can I test to find out if that is my issue? Sit holding a spell for 5 minutes and see if it eventually starts regenerating? I don't exactly have a low end rig. I have $2000 worth of hardware and don't have any performance issues even with my current load order. If there is a way I can test your theory and it doesn't work, is there anything else you could do to look into why it won't regenerate in my case? Just wanna know what I can do, how I can test, and what my option are. Thank you.
If I recall correctly, when there are enough scripts running at the same time, some of them won't fire at all instead of being greatly delayed.
I would do:
1. Disable all .esp files except this 2. Open the console in the main menu and type "coc whiterun" 3. Learn a non concentration spell with the console (I like lightning bolt for example) 4. Cast it and hold it
If you're not regenerating at this point, the mod is either installed wrong or I have messed up something. If you are regenerating, your other save has a 99% chance of script lag shenanigans.
