We all love Civil War questline, don't we? There's this tiny quest in Reach and Rift called Compelling Tribute, when we are tasked with blackmailing steward. Blackmailed steward tells us about a huge transport of weapons and silver/gold going to the capital that we can rob. When asked how much loot is transported, he says it's "Enough to make a difference in the war"
Daaamn. Enough to make a difference in the war! How much can that be? It turns out that it's six swords, a bow and silver ingots worth enough to buy six more swords. That's sweet! I'm sure it will make a huge difference against army of TEN LEGIONS that Tullius have.
So this mod dials up the contents of the caravan to eleven. Let's do some math then!
I assumed wagon's capacity as 1,5 ton, using very reliable source of Youtube video about roads.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdguh1D-fOk
Then i completely arbitrarily decided that one silver ingot will weigh 1 roman libra (about 1/3 kg) and one sword/bow will weigh 1 kg. Rounded it up into nice numbers and voila!
12 silver ingots -> 2400 silver ingots (or 30 silver talents if you gonna be roleplay about it) 5 imperial swords -> 500 imperial swords 1 imperial bow -> 100 imperial bows 1 enchanted sword -> still 1 enchanted sword, it's for an officer
Now that's enough to equip an entire cohort of troops and pay them about half a year's wages! Stormcloak version of this wagon got upscaled by the same ratio. 4 gold ingots turned into 800 and each type of weapon got upgrade from 1 to 100.
On the one hand you may say "that's ridiculous, it's completely overpowered and we shouldn't take entire loot for ourselves! Our fieldCO would totally notice that!". And you're completely right! But that's still 8200 units of weight, so unless you're using cheats to have unlimited carry weight, you would be physically unable to loot it all. Or you can tell Lydia to carry it all for you, but have some pity on her jesus christ, you've tormented her enough with your burdens.
