Armor of the Unburned expands the vanilla Ancient Helmet of the Unburned into a full armor set with new visuals and enchantments. While conceived as a companion mod to Draugr Equip Armor, Armor of the Unburned is a standalone mod that has no requirements beyond the base game.
Also available for Xbox: Armor of the Unburned 1K and Armor of the Unburned 2K.
FEATURES
Armor of the Unburned makes the following changes:
- New visuals (with glow mapping) for the Ancient Helm of the Unburned.
- New visuals (with glow mapping) for the Ancient Greatsword of the Unburned (formerly the Honed Ancient Nord Greatsword of Scorching).
- These items are upgradable at the Skyforge. Once the Ancient Helm of the Unburned has been upgraded, the other armor pieces will become available to craft there as well.
The upgraded/expanded items include more vibrant glow mapping, increased stats, additional abilities/effects, and, collectively, provide 100% fire resistance:
- The Helm of the Unburned provides the wearer with the Breath of the Unburned lesser power, which allows them to breathe fire at will (damage levels with the wearer).
- The Cuirass of the Unburned shrouds the wearer in fire, damaging nearby enemies for 5 points of Fire damage per second.
- The Gauntlets of the Unburned endow the wearer with a mastery of fire magic, reducing the cost of Fire spells by 25%.
- The Boots of the Unburned reject immersion in liquids, providing a waterwalking effect to the wearer and leaving a trail of flames in their wake.
- The Greatsword of the Unburned ignites in flame when drawn, causing an additional 30 points of Fire damage per attack.
PATCHES
Patches are available for the following mods:
Weapons Armor Clothing & Clutter Fixes (with integrated support for Complete Crafting Overhaul Remastered)
- Applies WACCF keywords and adjusts some item stats for consistency with WACCF.
- Adjusts crafting recipes for consistency with CCOR.
- Supports CCOR if installed, but CCOR is not required.
- Adds Particle Lighting to the inventory models and the equipped cuirass and boots.
- Requires either ENBSeries or Community Shaders - Light Limit Fix.
INSTALLATION and COMPATIBILITY
- All patches listed above are available in the FOMOD.
- Load after Armor of the Unburned after Draugr Equip Armor (if the latter is installed).
- Broadly compatible with most mods.
- Mesh patches may be required for body replacers. We will not be providing these.
