- Changelogs
This provides high stat variants to Intermediate, Advanced, and Thematic armors providing you the choice to wear whatever you want, without sacrificing stats.
Are you a member of the Dawnguard? An Imperial assassin? A servant of Nocturnal. Who can know if at level 60+ you have to wear Dragon armor or suffer major penalties?
REINFORCING ARMOR:
Requirements for Reinforcing armor:
- The piece of the armor you want to Reinforce
- Smithing Level 75+
- The associated perk (Steel, Arcane, etc.)
WEIGHT vs ARMOR:
In Vanilla, Heavy Armor is really just that: HEAVY. While being dramatically heavier, they offer very little additional protection. Reinforced Armors re-balances the Weight to Armor ratio, by increasing the Armor Rating of Heavy Armor, and the Weight of Light Armor. All Reinforced Armors have the following base stats:
REQUIRED DLC's AND MODS:
- Dawnguard
- Dragonborn
NOTES:
- At this time, I have no intention to make this available for consoles. If you would like to, message me.
- "Enhanced" Thematic Weapon variants may be added to this mod at a future time.
INSTALLATION / UNINSTALLATION:
If you're here, you probably know how to do this. But since everybody else includes it:
- Nexus Mod Manager - Click "Download (NMM)" and let it do it's thing!
- Manual Install - Put the ESP in the .../Skyrim Special Edition/Data/* Folder; likewise remove it to uninstall
