Version 1.2
I discovered the magic effect that caused NPCs to stagger was also hitting every creature in the area with a "hit event" every second. This caused animals to become hostile (e.g. cats in A Cat's Life) and caused chicken feathers to fly off chickens. I added 2 flags to the magic effect which now prevents this. Safe to update mid-game.

Removed the extra condition for being in the Solstheim world since that condition was already in the scene along with other Solstheim locations. Thanks to bientje for pointing this out.
IMPORTANT NOTE:These tweaks only work for the "Earthquakes - With idles - Without moving objects" download from the original mod! That's the version I'm using, and I made these tweaks for myself. I'm just sharing them here with the permission from the original author.
TWEAKS:
Changed the cower animation to the "idle drunk" animation so that the player can stumble around during earthquakes.
Added an appropriate "stop animation" at the end of the earthquake to make sure the player doesn't get stuck in the animation state.
Changed the earthquake duration from a static 25 seconds to a random duration between 10 and 20 seconds.
Compacted the formids and ESL flagged the plugin.
