> Premise

After the "Anniversary Update" of Skyrim SE most mods stopped working for one reason or the other, and while a big portion of them has been patched, some of them are not being update anymore: one of these mods is Hide SkyUI. This is why I decided to find an alternative-I mean, make one myself!

> Description

The SkyUI team did an immense job and I am surely not here to deny that, but let's be honest: some of us simply grew too used to the vanilla menus and would like to keep using them (or simply don't like the 'SkyUI' take on the matter). This mod aims to give you back that vanilla look on menus without compromising SkyUI functionality.

> Features

▸ comes as an ESLified .esp
▸ automatic disabling of "Incompatible SWF" warnings from SkyUI
▸ automatic 'Magic 3D Item' position fix
▸ 3 versions provided: 'Standard', 'Full Vanilla' and 'Full Vanilla unpacked'
- 'Standard' version will not revert "Favorite" and "Map" menus
- 'Full Vanilla' version will revert ALL menus
▸ basic configuration options via in-game lesser power

An .ini file is provided under "MCM/Config/Nyr_SkyUIVanillaMenus/settings.ini " to enable/disable the configuration power ("bUseConfigPower") and the resync notifications on game reload ("bVerboseMode"): note that this file will do nothing without either MCM Helper, PapyrusUtil or Papyrus INI Manipulator; both options can be disabled anyway using the very config power. The config power can be restored anytime using the console command (case insensitive) player.addspell Nyr_SVM_ConfigSpell.

Personalization
Want a more 'personalized' version, with just some specific menus reverted? You can download the "full vanilla" unpacked version and just delete the vanilla menus you don't wish to be restored to vanilla from the "Interface" folder (or just use a different set of menu files from another mod). Just keep this in mind: smithing, alchemy and enchanting are ALL tied to the same "craftingmenu.swf" file, and for my understanding there is no easy way to make the game use a different, specialized file for each of the threee aforementioned categories.

> Installation

No files will be overwritten on a manual installation (granted you are using the .bsa version), but use of a mod manager is higly recommended anyway. Load order is mostly indifferent but the mod .esp must be placed AFTER (doesn't matter if directly after or not) SkyUI.esp and MCMHelper (if installed); once installed, just launch the game and wait for the "'SkyUI Vanilla Menus' is now active." notification to make sure the mod is working.

> Uninstallation

To uninstall, use the in-game power and choose the "turn off" option, save the game and remove the files. Alternatively, the mod can be turned off also by typing the console command (case insensitive) set Nyr_SVM_UserOffset to 701.

> Update

To update, simply replace your version of choice with the updated one; you can stop it first following the instruction for the uninstallation, but it is not a hard requirement (granted that you are NOT mixing 'standard' and 'full vanilla' versions together).

> Compatibility

▸This mod might be incompatible with other mods that replace the involved .swf menu files, depending on what you are aiming for.
▸Tests were done on a 1920*1080 monitor; if you are having issues with incorrect horizontal placement of "Magic Menu" 3D art, you can use the console command (case insensitive) set Nyr_SVM_UserOffset to ## - where ## is a number - to adjust the horizontal offset of the 3D magic art. Any other adjustment is not touched by this mod and is to be made from SkyUI own sliders ("Magic Menu" 3D art VERTICAL offset, "Item Menu" 3D art horizontal and vertical offsets). I currently have no way to test it on ultrawide monitors and so I can't test compatibility with "ultrawide" mods.
▸This mod was developed using Skyrim version 1.6.640 and it's probably compatible with any "AE" version (1.6.xxx), let me know if you find it working (or not working) with other versions!

> Known Issues

The horizontal placement of "Magic Menu" 3D art might sometimes be off after a 'game reload', but this is only temporary since the scripts need to "wait" for SkyUI and/or MCMHelper (if installed) to process their own code on game reload. Give it some seconds and it will be correctly placed. If for some reason the resync fails, it can be forced by either using the config power, or by simply opening and closing the console command.
