Are you tired of that one guy chasing you all across the province?
Does his face make you feel the kind of bone-deep tired that a nap can't fix?
Are you testing out some new mods, but can't stand to listen to the Courier's voice lines on yet another new save?
Do you wish you had a cute goat delivering your mail instead?
Thistle can help with that.
Features
Background
After a particularly grueling week of hauling letters, parcels, and cases of mead all across Skyrim, the hardest working man in the province decided he needed some help delivering everything. A sturdy goat for sale in Rorikstead seemed like just what he needed to help carry packages. His new goat Thistle seemed perfectly ordinary at first, but her love for cheese gave her determination like he'd never seen before. She quickly proved to be a swift and dedicated learner as long as cheese was involved. After months of training, Thistle recognized people and places where she made deliveries before, and started making deliveries on her own.
Now her training is complete, and our brave girl is here to deliver your mail all by herself. All she asks is a wedge of cheese, if you could spare some.
Main File Variants
Full Replacer
Replaces the courier with a goat, all courier dialogue with goat bleats, and all subtitles with appropriate descriptions ("Cheerful bleating" for example).
This version is least likely to be compatible with other courier mods because it directly changes dialogue records.
Choose this version if you want Thistle to be a regular goat trained to deliver mail.
Visual Only Replacer
Replaces the appearance of the courier, but leaves dialogue records unchanged. The courier's voice is left vanilla.
This version is more likely to be compatible with other courier mods, but still changes the courier npc record and will likely need a compatibility patch in most cases.
Choose this version if you want Thistle to be an enchanted talking goat with a human voice.
Requirements
This mod requires the base game and the DLC content, but no creation club mods.
The Fluffworks patch requires Fluffworks.
Compatibility
This mod edits the npc records and dialogue for the courier.
Any mod that edits those records could potentially conflict with this mod.
Other courier replacers are incompatible with this mod.
