If you have played Grantyboy050's Immersive Fort Dawnguard alongside DrJacopo's Obsidian Weathers, it is quite likely that you will soon notice that the nights are a lot brighter inside Dayspring Canyon than the rest of Skyrim. The reason is simple - Immersive Fort Dawnguard adds its own weather system to Dayspring Canyon. I find this clash immersion breaking, and I also don't think the bright nights are very realistic. To resolve this, I have created this mod, which adjusts all light settings from IFD's weather system to be more in line with Obsidian Weathers. I have still aimed at preserving the differences from Vanilla weather effects, but the overall brightness has received significant adjustments. On top of this, I have integrated the special weather effects from Obsidian Weathers into the custom weathers.
Something I have not touched is the weather probabilities. While I would have liked to see more varied weather in Dayspring Canyon, I would need a greater understanding of IFD's light switch system to be able to do this in a realistic manner. On top of this, I am not sure I would be able to create more custom weathers that would do Grantyboy050's work justice, so I thought it would be better to leave it out.
My other patches for Immersive Fort Dawnguard For those seeking compatibility patches, I thought it would be worth mentioning that I am hosting a couple of IFD patches on my own patch page: Jonado's random patches. Included patches are for Atlas Map Markers + Immersive Dawnguard Dayspring Pass, ELFX Enhancer, and ELFX + Legacy of the Dragonborn (conflict resolution between two of Grantyboy050's own patches + navmesh fixes).
On top of this, I have created patches for Seasonal Landscapes - Unfrozen (one for the original mod and one for my own additions), which are available here: Seasonal Landscapes - Unfrozen - More Patches.
