Also, sometimes, the "blub, blub, blub" sound heard when you are swimming underwater follows me even after I got out of the water. My solution is always to save and reload, and the sound is gone.
Could it be caused by the same bug? Have you ever experienced it? I would like a bug fix like this for it, if you have the time, of course.
AFAIK that sound effect is controlled by the camera position and it can sometimes get stuck on if you're transitioning between water and land. You can try positioning the camera underwater and back again instead of reloading the save, that's what I'm doing.
This mod has nothing to do with it and I'm not sure if this is something I'll be able to fix, as it may be controlled by the game engine itself.
Hello ferrari, i wonder if you can fix ReanimateAshPile script caused by reanimate dead, i think it's because when reanimating a dead corpse, it turns to ash when time is out or pass through a door but somehow scripts won't disappear. Pic related is haunting me for like 30-hour game time lol.
Do you have any mods that are changing this script? At first glance, I'm not finding anything in the vanilla or USSEP version of this script that can be causing that.
I have lots of mods, especially requiem which probably touches everything in the game. Other than that no overhaul mod for dead, just alternate Dead animations, in which there are no scripts. Maybe at some point, my reanimated thralls got bugged, either from save load spam in combats or changing instances with animated dead? I wonder what would happen if i just delete these active scripts via resaver?
Don't delete anything, terminating those scripts is safer, but you should still do a backup of your save just in case. The vanilla script does not have waits directly in the OnEffectFinish, so your issue is from some mod that is changing this script. I suggest finding out which mod that is first before doing anything else. If you're on MO2, you can go to the Data tab and search for the script name there and it will tell you where it's coming from, not sure if Vortex has such a feature.
Ah yeah, checked it, its requiem, it has a script file named ReanimateAshPile.psc so it's probably that. I think there is nothing to do at this poin. Thanks btw.
Yeah, i asked them. Btw to be clear, only active scripts cause script lag, right? I always read about script heavy mods and how they are bloating saves, causing lags etc but i also read the only thing that causes the issue is too much active script at one time, and hangs on save. If a mod runs a script, fires it, and then reverts back, is it fine? Ofc avoiding mods like constantly running scripts like old stuff or script cloak mods. I mostly changed my modlist to SPID versions but I'm still curious.
Yes, only scripts that are actively running can cause script lag. A common misconception about mods is that if they have a lot of scripts, they're script heavy which is false. How heavy a scripted mod is is determined by how often it's scripts run and what they're doing, not how many total scripts it has.
Keep in mind though, that not all active scripts are equal. Scripts like in your case here is just waiting for time to pass, so it's not doing anything even if it's technically active. Other scripts could only pop up from time to time and do what they need to but still be considered heavy if they do it often enough. If too many scripts do that too often, the game gets overwhelmed and that's how you get script lag and broken saves.
I'm using Sswaye's Smooth Series 2023 Reshade from the now depreciated Reshade collection + Cathedral Weathers, though you probably want to try out the Flagship collection instead. I don't have an ENB installed.
I'm fine with them, as long as they're written properly, which is usually, in my experience, not the case in Bethesda scripts. Also the event system is superior in every way, so might as well use it. :D

Thanks for the mod!

BTW what graphical mods/ENBs are you using?
Thank you every time xD
I Saw that your mods are included in USMP patch.
