Hey! What do you think of the new mod "JKs Riften outskirts"? I use it with Ryns farms and xedit says there are conflicts with these two mods. It's playable, but it's bad when nps get stuck or don't know where to go. Have you thought about making a patch?
The compilation mod Riften Docks Overhaul includes a modified version of this mod and it has a patch for the mod you mention so you can trying using that if you like. I may eventually do a patch myself but no idea when I'll get to it.
From what I can see there is a lot that would have to be changed to allow the mods to work together as there are direct overlaps. Maybe I'll take a look at some point to see what could be done but no idea if and when that might be.
Was about to check on this same thing as I just went thru the rest of @Urtho's mods and didn't realize there were so many wonderful QoL pathways here besides the marsh bridges and my not knowing the Skyway was theirs as well.
I'll keep a tracker on this just in case. I'll at least be using most of the other pathways, sadly not quite all of them(but they're all awesome additions and well designed!
OMG!!! Picture 25 is just STUNNING!! I'm flabbergasted! What night sky mod are you using? Cuz mine does NOT look like THAT! I wish it did, though! Do you use ENB? I'm just blown away. Beautiful work, by the way.
No, I've never used an ENB in any of my time playing or making mods for the game. Those screenshots were taken in the original version of the game so all mods were from that era of the game's life. I haven't used it in some time but I dug thru my old install for you and I believe what you're looking for are some combination of these mods from the original modding scene:
A very thoughtful mod. Riften is my favorite city in Skyrim but it always bugged me how inefficient the entire place is. From getting to the ragged flagon (requires 2 load doors), to getting from one end of the city to the other requires you to enter it (or go around, but there's not even a road despite there being a boarded up 3rd entrance). Lore-wise it makes sense, because as one of the most business-savvy cities in Skyrim, it forces people to travel into the heart of the city, where right in the middle is a big market with a lot of shops. It's all cleverly designed by the city planners to get more money flowing through the city... However when it comes to pure convenience-sake, it is very poor in that.
This mod in addition to those that add a road connecting the two main gates, and various 1-load-door mods to get to the Ragged Flagon, make Riften both very profitable still, and quite convenient as well.
Would love if you could add a patch for holds city overhaul. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/10609 There is a slight in incompatibility between the 2 where 2 bridges intersect on the south side.
So thought I'd give this a try (not used it since LE), dropped it into my load order and started a new game to test. Not only does it look great, make sense, makes things more convenient and my follower had no issues navigating around it, but as I was crossing I passed a patrol from Immersive Patrols, 3 NPCs from Interesting NPCs and one NPC from WARP all crossing the pathway going about their lives. I love it when mods interact like this. Great work
Just made my first worldcell patch! I replaced the lantern models in this with the ones from Medieval Lanterns of Skyrim (plus added a few bits of structural integrity), would it be okay if I publish it?
The changes I made to the Honeyside deck platform were necessary to make the path cross the water at that elevated point and be viable for cross traffic so that isn't optional or able to be patched around without a complete redesign of where and how the mod functions. A patch for that mod to remove or reposition features/items it adds would probably be a better option as space is limited for adding things to the deck as it stands now.

Enhanced Night Skyrim - Blue Galaxy
Enhanced Lights and FX
Climates of Tamriel
The first one is probably usable in this version of the game, the others have modern versions or equivalents I believe. Happy modding.
