When you use dual wield or two hands, your right hand hit switches your hand to left and back. So you can use your right hand hit to perform right and left attacks in turn.
More info - This applies only to player, not NPCs. - Regular left hand attacks and mounted combat are not affected. - Blocking is not affected so you can do something else to enable dual wield block. - Designed for vanilla combat, dunno how it works with MCO. - ESL-flagged, not script-intensive. - You can use "set DualWieldAddonGlobal to -1" console command to disable all this and "set DualWieldAddonGlobal to 1" to enable hands-switch back.
About conflicts - If you open the plugin in xEdit you can see a conflict with Dawnguard in NormalAttack [IDLE:00013215]. - This is treated as a conflict but it isn't a real conflict. - In vanilla NormalAttack has direct reference to CrossBowAttack. - In mod NormalAttack still has reference to CrossBowAttack but it's indirect - NormalAttack > DWA_NormalAttack_Right > DWA_NormalAttack_Left > CrossBowAttack. - This applies to all vanilla idles overrides.
