Congratulations on your work. This is a must-have mod for me. Can I make a suggestion? Would you consider making an option to add sleeves and red cloth instead of blue in the next update? Thank you very much.
I think this may be a SPID issue. Are the soldiers also missing their gauntlets/bracers? Please try this replacement plugin and let us know if it resolves the issue.
Hey! Long time fan of your mods, and sorry to trouble but we can't seem to craft any of the items from this mod? We are using 'Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim' but it hasn't given us trouble with modded smithing yet. Are we simply misunderstanding the requirements? We just beat the whole Civil War quest (and did reach Legate for the legion ofc.) and still not showing up. Got up to Hard Steel (equivalent of Advanced Armors) and Orcish Smithing. Does it require higher level smithing? Did say it was on par with glass so does it need that? Again, sorry if we're being an idiot.
You understood it correctly, and it sounds like the items should be craftable. I use Ordinator too, and haven't had issues with it. My guess is the Legate/quest requirement didn't complete properly. Try installing the Alternative Crafting option and see if that helps.
I have tried both default and alt crafting requirements to no avail. Tried different save with alt crafting. "Perks from Questing' might interfere with the Legate requirement but again, even the Alt version has not worked. Aside from Animated Armory we don't have any of the other mods that would interfere. The mod is downloaded and operational because I saw some in the Castle Dour tiny locked armory area near the barracks, but I just simply cannot craft any of the items. And legates are hard to find. Just updated Heavy Armory and that didn't help either. Thank you for the response though. Edit: Should mention: we have other Heavy Armory offshoots like Elven Steel that work perfectly both in distribution and in crafting (as well as of course the main Heavy Armory, one of fav mods period), so idk what specifically is making this one simply not.
I, too, am having the same issue. Tried alt and normal crafting versions and have the same issue. I don't even use Ordinator or anything that changes crafting aside from a SkyUI addon that changes the craftingmenu.swf file back to vanilla crafting menus, which shouldnt affect this mod since every other mod-added weapon and armor I have, I can craft without issue.
Edit: I can also confirm the mod is loaded and working fine otherwise, seeing as I am able to "borrow" a Silver Imperial Mace in the armory. lol
Are you both using the CCOR patch, by chance? If so, there's an additional requirement of Smithing level 30 (adjustable in the CCOR MCM) in order to craft with silver.
I'm in the same boat. I found the silver mace in Castle Dour, however none of the legates have the Armor and I'm unable to craft any of it even after meeting the requirements.
Don't know if I'm doing something wrong, if this is a bug, or a feature; but I installed using the latest FOMOD and selected the alternate crafting so I can craft it early, and for some reason the 1h Mace isn't improvable at a grindstone. It is the only weapon that is not improvable. And the helmet, cuirass, and shield are not improvable at the workbench. I'm using Adamant - Perk Overhaul if that matters
Hi. Good job. How about making a winter version of imperial armor for both soldiers and officers, including this mod? Skyrim is a harsh and snowy terrain, and legions walk around in skirts, not sparing their arms and legs at all.
Somehow that mistake found it's way into the installer again.. Just pick an option, and deactivate or delete the plugin. I'll fix the installer so it doesn't force you to pick one.
Mod Organizer 2 doesn't seem to be able to install the archive. I've tried downloading twice, and both times it wouldn't work. Other zipped files on Nexus seem to be okay, so I don't think it's on my end.
Great Mod as usual! I am however having a texture issue with the helmet. The shiny effect seems to be working, but it appears purple (using 2k version). Also, it seems most of the weapons, and all three armor pieces are unable to be improved at grindstones/workbenches.
Still enjoying the mod, but after a brief revisit to TES III, I was thinking it would pretty cool to further expand on this! Maybe make a full Imperial gear expansion with Imperial Templar, Dukes guard (jarls guard?), etc.!

- Edit - Seem to work now!

I found some mistakes with the tempering recipes indeed, though the improvement recipes for most weapons already seemed to be correct.
