โš™๏ธ HOW IT WORKS

"Game Environment Tweaks: Immersive Merchant Cheats" improves merchants by increasing the types of things they sell and buy. This makes the shopping more convenient and more fun, in a way that makes sense.

๐ŸŽ WHAT YOU GET

Double the Gold - or More - for Merchants, Fences and Others
-------
Shopkeepers, blacksmiths, other merchants and fences now have twice as much gold - the right amount to make selling easier, but not too much to break immersion! Right? Innkeepers now have five times the normal gold, which is still less than shopkeepers, but enough to give them what they need to buy the extra potions, ingredients and clutter from you, which they can sell to travelers with this mod. Street vendors also have five times the gold, which is also still less than shopkeepers. This makes it easier to sell enchanted and expensive jewelry to jewelers.

More Merchants Who Buy Stolen Goods
-------
Want to unload stolen items without having to return to the Ragged Flaggon, or even if you haven't joined the thieve's guild? Now you can! This mod adds seven new fences who will let you profit from things you pilfer:
  • Three Khajiits fences: Khajiits are known for being thieves and smugglers. You can now sell stolen goods to each caravan leader without having to complete multiple quests for the thieves guild. Already completed the thieves guild quests to get Khajiit fences? Now you'll have twice as many Khajiits to take stolen stuff off your hands!
  • Six Orc fences: Orcs in the strongholds live by their own law - the Code of Malacath. So, it makes sense they'd not care about breaking the laws made by outsiders! Right? Now you can sell stolen goods to the wise women and blacksmiths of the strongholds.
  • Two Dark Elf fences: The Windhelm street vendor Aval Atheron says in a hushed tone, "If you need anything, come see me. I'm as resourceful as I am discreet." Sounds like an invitation to fence your stolen goods! Right? Well, now he will buy most any stolen item you offer to sell. Sadri of Sadri's Used Wares, which is also in Windhelm, puts on a good act by adamantly denying his wares are stolen, but he'll quietly take stolen goods off your hands just the same!

An "Honest" Dark Elf
-------
The Dark Elf street vendor of Riften named Brand-Shei claims to have rare trinkets and oddities from Morrowin. Why then does he sell the same junk found in any pawnshop of Skyrim? Well, the mod makes an honest man of him. He now sells potions, armor and weapons you can only find in Morrowin and the nearby Dark Elf island of Solsthiem.

Fletchers Also Buy and Sell Pelts, Potions and Ingredients
-------
Fletchers like Elrindir of the Drunken Huntsman in Whiterun cater to hunters. Doesn't it make sense that they'd buy and sell the things hunters would trade, like animal pelts, ingredients, poisons and potions? For sure! Now you can buy and sell some of these items at fletcher shops. Plus, they now sell more enchanted bows, too!

More Wizards Who Sell Magic Staffs, Hoods and Black Soul Gems
-------
Not a member of the College of Winterhold? Not wanting to join them? Not a problem! Now you can buy magic staffs and magic hoods from any court wizard! The wizards of the jarls each have a 75% chance to have a leveled magic staff every time they replenish their inventories. Plus, the Nelacar now sells black soul gems from the privacy of his room at the Frozen Hearth inn in Winterhold.

Find Just the Staffs You Need
-------
Looking for a specific staff? The mod makes it easier. In addition to having scrolls and spell books for their specific magic schools, each mage at the College of Winterhold now also has a 75% chance to sell one or two leveled magic staffs for their specific specialties:
  • Colette Marence: Leveled restoration staffs for healing and turning undead.
  • Drevis Neloren: Leveled illusion staffs for calm, courage and fear spells.
  • Faralda: Leveled destruction staffs for dealing fire, frost and shock damage.
  • Phinis Gestor: Leveled conjuration staffs for conjuring or expelling daedra, familiars and zombies.
  • Tolfdir: Alteration staffs for spells like magelight and paralysis.

Buy Enchanted Jewelry from Jewelers
-------
Skyrim has enchanted jewelry. Skyrim has jewelers. Shouldn't they sell enchanted jewelry too! Yeah, yeah, now they do! Street vendors who sell jewelry now have at least one enchanted ring, necklace or circlet to sell every time their inventories replenish.

Find More of the Potions You're Looking for
-------
Alchemists in each hold of Skyrim specialize in particular types of alchemy and sell more of those kinds of potions, poisons or ingredients. These include:
  • Angeline of Angeline's Aromatics in Solitude: 50% more of all types of potions and poisons. (She's not an expert alchemists, but the shipments coming in from the East Empire Shipping Company and the wealth of Solitude's residents keep her shelves well stocked.)
  • Arcadia of Arcadia's Cauldron in Whiterun: 50% more ingredients. (Having it's location in the center of Skyrim means more travelers selling ingredients gathered in their travels.)
  • Bothela of The Hag's Cure in Markarth: 2 times the potions that cure disease, cure poison and heal your health, stamina and magicka. (The name of her shop says it all.)
  • Elgrim of Elgrim's Elixirs in Riften: 2 times potions increasing resistances to spells and such. (Appropriate, since he resists being polite!)
  • Frida of the Mortar and Pestle in Dawnstar: 4 times skill-increasing spells. (She sells less potions than other alchemists, but her specialty in skill potions keeps customers coming back.)
  • Lami of the Thaumaturgist's Hut in Morthal: 4 times the skill potions. (The word thaumaturgist means, "Miracle worker," and her potions increase the ability to cast miraculous spells!)
  • Nuerelion of The White Phial in Windhelm: 3 times more recipies. (His apprentice speaks of learning so much from the master alchemist. Now you can too, with his collection of recipies.)
  • Wise Women of the Orc strongholds: 2 times all kinds of ingredients. (Orc hunting parties collect plenty to keep them well stocked.)
  • Zaria of Grave Concoctions in Falkreath: 2 times more poisons. (Her shop lives up to it's name, and it's conveniently located near the Dark Brotherhood hideout!)

๐Ÿงฉ COMPATIBILITY AND DISABLING

The mod doesn't change the merchants or any other NPCs. It changes the contents of the hidden merchant chests, adds new leveled lists of merchandise and adds more types of items to the form lists of things some merchants buy and sell. Mods changing NPCs should be compatible. Mods changing merchant chests, form lists and leveled vendor items might prevent some of the changes made by this mod.
