The ESP was optimized by moving and keeping all large references and new records within the ESM. These objects are now simply swapped in the ESM and new large reference data generated. The result is a lighter ESP and improved compatibility. This change requires any patches made for BDS to be updated due to FormID changes. Specifically any record that is prefixed with "BDS_" within any patches will need to be updated as they will toss errors with v3.5+. The following was also completed in this update:
- Changed 14 non-snowy snowberry bushes and a chopping block at Winterhold to snowy versions
- Changed some non-snowy fences and a chopping block at Brandy Mug Farm to snowy versions
- Changed multiple non-snowy shurbs and thickets here and there to snowy versions
- Changed some non-snowy fences and a wood pile at Dawnstar to snowy versions
- Changed a non-snowy rubble pile at Boethiah's Shrine to a snowy version
- Changed some non-snowy rope pieces at Stillborn Cave to snowy versions

Fixed an issue with BDS' implementation of the destroyed inn model at Traitor's Post that caused objects inside to float. As a bonus, the inn has also been edited visually to closer match the updated snowy version first seen in Dawnguard. The changes made include a stone floor on the first floor (instead of wood) and snow in spots where there are large gaps in the roof. Finally, two large holes have been closed in the thatch, and the floorboard ends have fixed texture stretching with properly combined geometry.

The largest change with this update was to correct objects that were missing the snow shader. This was accomplished by quickly reviewing all the named snowy exteriors and converting numerous objects at these locations to snowy versions. If a snowy version didn't exist, a new statics was created and used. Therefore, this update also adds over 20 new statics into the game that are covered with snow. This corrects a large number of inconsistencies throughout snowy regions.
- Updated 'No Glacier Snow' option to be its own plugin (ESL). This should correct the behavior of it not uninstalling correctly.
- Updated the name of the vanilla replacement plugin (it was erroneously left as the development name).
- Restored the slight blue tint from vanilla to the modded plugin.

I took quite a bit of time tweaking the snowy objects for Windhelm (walls, buildings, etc). This included any asset with a snow shader that is prefixed with "WH". The purpose of this review was to reduce the about of issues with the snow shader rendering on vertical surfaces causing it to appear stretched, as well as to expand Better Dynamic Snow's coverage of Windhelm. Before taking on this task I did some research looking at examples of snowy landscapes with castles and stone buildings. I found that snow rarely or very lightly sticks to most vertical surfaces of this nature. Due to this research, I ended up reducing the amount of snow found on most of the vertical surfaces around Windhelm while still allowing it to sit on protrusions. This was also the solution to reducing most of the vertical stretch, though some still remains...such is the nature of how the shader is applied...however, it currently much better than it was.
When I really started digging into the city, I found vanilla Windhelm to be a hugely inconsistent mess. You can be walking in one area covered with snow only to round a corner into another area to be greeted with little to no snow at all. Therefore, I also aimed to balance out this issue to make the city feel more consistent throughout. As a result Valunstrad (the rich district) now has more snowy objects. The appearance of this district is that the snow has mainly been swept away into the corners; therefore, I kept the snow on the walls and fences here light.

--- I have fixed the CTD at the Temple of Miraak cause by the dragon bones. Bethesda really made a mess of those meshes. The fixed meshes are included in the mod which involved removing bogus NiAlpha branches with bogus animation data and other blocks that were creating unnecessary frameworks.
