PSA: I am no longer actively modding. I unfortunately don't have the time anymore to invest the amount of work I like to put into creating mods. Permission is granted to do whatever you'd like with my mods (port it, edit it, whatever) - just please take into consideration the permissions of the modders resources that I have used and give credit. Happy modding! <3
Very nice design! Can't bring myself to live in Hjerim considering someone died there and a ritual was done in it xD I just use the place as a "dumping" ground and so that poor Calder has a place and not just loitering at the Palace of Kings. Thanks for the mod!
I actually may have found it. There is a mod series called "Distinct Interiors - Player Homes" that was uploaded by carrorune that include the ones done by Sokkvabekk. They also uploaded the interiors for the shops, inns, and an AiO Optimized version. :)
fyi, I'm pretty sure it's safe to compact formids in the plugin and then flag it as an ESL. But if you're also using "Paintings for Hjerim" you'll need to have its plugin active in xedit when you do that so its formids will get automatically updated to match (xedit will do this automatically).
If I could endorse this twenty more times, I would.
It's exactly what I always wanted Hjerim to be (hearty, warm, refined, but with that added splash of Nord ferocity and pride). It's always been my favorite player home, but seeing it truly come to life in this mod was really special. Fireplaces, embroidered pillows, hot cocoa in elegant cups - all these dainty things weave seamlessly with iron anvils, fur rugs, and roaring taxidermy on nearly every wall (she wasn't kidding, you guys!!).
You nailed the humble/noble Nord aesthetic, and I think that's so very cool.
Practicals: I had zero issues installing this mode. I bought the house from Jorleif, bought all of the decoration options and sprinted to Hjerim to find something amazing waiting for me. No clipping, no weird objects floating in the air. All good. NOTE: That empty room is meant to be empty until you become thane. Then Sideburns McGee moves in. -.-
If mod is installed before doing the "Blood on ice" quest, it messes Things up. It has music and you see the messages when you have the cursor over objects that only is supposed to appear once you buy the house.
I found the big spiky black hand with the Oblivion symbol on it (from the Midden under the Winterhold College) floating in front of the shelves in the secret room, during the Blood on the Ice quest.
It has music and it has the floaty spoky hand thing yes. But it doesent really "mess" anything up. The mod works just fine when you purchase it and everything. It looks weird but when you got the house and everything it all works wondefully.

Will things mess up if I install this mod to use with this save, that already has Hjerim and has my family in it?
The house music doesn't play. And I want to ask you something, where is the version without a Manequin? Hate Manequin
