This script can not fix water seam from mod conflict. It is meant to help mod author(or experienced mod user) to convert mod from original Skyrim to SSE.

    Here is explanation.
Some mods that have been converted from Oldrim to SE haven't had their water records updated to match SE, and it can cause seams in the water, and other negative affects. This script can be added to SEEedit, and used to correct it

Check out 'Water and Flow Data' topic
    https://afkmods.iguanadons.net/index.php?/topic/4633-skyrim-se-things-to-know-when-converting-standard-mods-to-sse/

This script do exactly same thing as this guide.

    For MO2 user:
Extra step(step 5) for MO2 has been changed for newer version of MO2. That screenshot is outdated.
If you run SSEEdit from MO2, Modified esp file will be saved and replaced original esp file. You don't have to drag-n-drop from 'overwrite folder' anymore.

    I'm getting this error:
    Cannot open file ":E:\Programmi\Nexus Mod Manager\SSEEdit 3.2-164-3-2\Edit Scripts\mteFunctions.pas"
The file is inside the scripts directory of SSEEdit but something giving me this error. Any idea?

Upgrade: Fixed, was a mistake xD I didn't put the automation

You also need the required tools from here, as stated in this mod's description. :)

I do when I run this. I also exclude:
      - Any USSEP patches
      - Any patches for your water mod
      - A Clear Map of Skyrim
      - Worldspace Transition Tweaks
      - DynDOLOD
      - Occlusion

If in doubt, I'd say don't include it.

Yes, I recommend not applying this script in CC plugins. I did it and caused me water seams. Had to delete the plugins and redownload them.

Also don't apply it to bashed/smashed patches and dyndolod plugins.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but when I load up the script in SSEEdit, it says that it cannot find the file "mteFunctions.pas".
I looked up the issue and downloaded some files from GitHub (https://github.com/matortheeternal/mteFunctions). However, it is still showing me the same error. Is there anything I could do to fix this?

On the description page, but this is what you're looking for. Load into "Edit Scripts"

      github

I am confused do you not just transfer the file into edit scripts? I am asking because that's what I did, and when I open up the edit scripts folder and the file is there however I get a notification saying the file cannot be found when using SSEedit...

You have to import ALL of the files in the "Edit Scripts" folder into your SSEEdit "Edit Scripts" folder. That is what worked for me.

Actually, I had a similar question.  This has always just worked for me until now.  I had to remove a couple of mods from my LO and noticed some seams so I re-ran this script and it changed 0 records so I'm wondering if some of the changes I had made before were somehow carrying over and corrupting the script (I have no knowledge of how these things work) so... I'm wondering if there's a way to 'clear' the changes I made before and re-running this.
