WARNING
The use of console commands will break the mod, use them at your own risk.
You been warned.

This is a heavy scripted quest mod
The SSE version the same as the SLE version have been heavily tested on an
Un-Modded game, it runs reliably and consistently stable without any issues.
All the mod's parts (scripted functions and quests) are heavily tested and the mod is
100% bug free.

If you intend to play this mod you need to be prepared to invest
time on it, you won't be done with it in just a couple of days...

This project is no 'Low End PC' friendly, the mod is 'Fully Optimized',
but up to the point that it does not changes the overall visuals and functions.
No further optimization will be done.

Re-uploading this file to any other websites
is strictly prohibited !!.

- Graphics and issue caused by ENBs -

The mod does an extensive use of "ImageSpace Modifiers" to achieve
environmental mood and light fluctuation in all cells.

If you are using ENB you won't be able to experience all of those atmospheric fluctuations,
because ENBs disables completely the use of "ImageSpace Modifiers".

If you want to experience the mod as it was originally created
with all of its visual assets and innovations.

- Disable your ENB
- Or edit your ENB so that the game can once again use "ImageSpace Modifiers",
as explained in the spoiler bellow.

Spoiler:
Show

First of all, the code is in enbeffect.fx, which may either be in your Skyrim main folder or in the enbseries folder. It's just a text file, so just edit it with your favorite text editor (even Windows Notepad will do). You don't need to worry about compiling it.
Near the top where the GUI stuff is, add the following lines. If there's no GUI stuff or you can't find it, then just add it at the top. Mine is above Empty_Row1.

float Empty_Row0 <
  string UIName="-------------------FADE";   string UIWidget="spinner";  float UIMin=0.0;  float UIMax=0.0;
> = {0.0};

bool EnableFade
<
string UIName="Enable Fade Transition";
> = {true};

That's for the ENB config menu. Next, this function does the actual fade. Add it into the PS_Draw() function. The position is important - I put it after "float grayadaptation=TextureAdaptation.Sample(Sampler0, IN.txcoord0.xy).x;" near the beginning.

if (EnableFade)
{
float3 fade = Params01[5].xyz;
float fade_weight = Params01[5].w;
color.rgb = lerp(color.rgb, fade, fade_weight);  // fade current scene to specified color
}

You can fix up the indenting if you like. Save your work. You made a backup, right? Lastly, modify the enbeffect.fx.ini file in order to enable it:

-------------------FADE=0.0
Enable Fade Transition=true

Just add it at the top under [ENBEFFECT.FX] and the TECHNIQUE= line. You could also enable it in the ENB config menu in game and Save Configuration instead.

MODDER'S NOTE

- Audio dialogue lines are in CK's default WAV format, they are not converted into XVM to
reduce the mod's size. I could never make any of the tools available to work on windows 11.
Those tools require msvcr100.dll in order to run and windows 11 uses a newer version of Microsoft Visual C++
- Also the audio dialogue WAVs were not packed into the core BSA because they
exceed the 2GB BSA limit, which makes a mod immediately unstable

INSTALLATION
Use your favorite manager.
7-zip file size 1.7 GB  -  Installation size 3.67 GB
Highly recommended
After installing the mod and running the game, make a "new save" and "load that save"
to ensure that everything will run as intended.

MANUAL INSTALLATION
Extract ESP and BSA to your Skyrim data folder.

UNINSTALL
Use your favorite manager.
- If you intend on keep playing from your existing save file, after uninstalling
clean your save file as you should do with all the mods you uninstall.
- Or revert to a pre-installation save file.

MANUAL UNINSTALL
Delete ESP and BSA from your Skyrim data folder.

LOAD ORDER
Use LOOT
The mod uses very few vanilla assets, but a good practise would be to load it last.

CLEANED WITH TES5Edit
