V 2.00 release + ALT release version!  Yes, this mod is actually a choice of 2 different mods that have a similar concept, but different execution!  Choose whichever best suits your tastes!  .....I personally find the ALT version the most 'realistic/balanced/logical', but to each their own!


Mod Description:


...BY SLAYING A DRAGON, YOU STEAL IT'S POWER!!!

Sounds AMAZINGLY EPIC, right?  ......well, in Vanilla Skyrim that means you now have a Dragon Soul that you can use to unlock shouts....kind of 'meh'!

With this mod, you ALSO get a slight reduction in the Shout Cool Down timer for each Dragon Soul you absorb.  Slay (and absorb) several Dragons, and you'll be able to shout much more often.

Standard Version Details:

-Each Dragon Soul absorbed reduces the shout cool down timer by 1%.  Once you've absorbed 100 Dragon Souls (or more), the Dragon Shout ability has no cool down period!

-The Dragon Shout 'Kyne's Peace' now gives a small healing/restore stamina effect as well.  Lvl1 30/30, Lvl2 50/50, Lvl3 70/70.
*I added healing + stamina restore because 1) it fits Kyne's lore and 2) some players want to do a no magic play through (except shouts).


Alternative Version Details:

-Each Dragon Soul absorbed reduces the shout cool down timer by 1%....as long as you don't use the Dragon Soul to unlock words of power.  Basically, you now have to choose between hoarding Dragon Souls and adding their power to your Thu'um (reduced cooldown) OR using the Dragon Souls to further unlock shouts!

-The Dragon Shout 'Kyne's Peace' now gives a small healing/restore stamina effect as well.  Lvl1 30/30, Lvl2 50/50, Lvl3 70/70.

Additional notes for both mod version:


-All playable races are now affected by this mod.

-The Standard version uses a count check against the GlobalValue Dragon Souls Absorbed to determine % cooldown.

-The Alt version uses an ActorValue (targeting player) count check against 'carried' Dragonsouls # to determine % cooldown.
