It's the movement input and the type of attack. N is Normal attack, P is Power Attack. the other letters are directions. just look at your keyboard's WASD keys.
Using version 1.3, mco_attack1.hkx (the first normal attack) repeats itself, and nothing can chain from it. I see from Animation Log "Echo" every time this animation is used. Maybe there is something going on with how the looping is implemented here?
Please let me know if there is a fix. This mod is too amazing!
Edit: For those of you experiencing the same issue, make sure to disable MCO smooth input if you are using that mod. This mod is incompatible with MCO smooth input.
Sorry for the late reply! My real life's been a mess and I haven't got the time for Skyrim and Nexus for the past months. With the latest bfco there's no need to convert. It can read mco annotations directly. Just change the hkx names from mco to bfco format and you're good to go.

But sometimes the ingame ID is not the same as what you see in xedit, because either the game or your mod manager Auto-changes your load order because of some misplaced plugins. You can try additem mod if you still have problems having the scrolls.
Hey brother I wanted to ask you if you had any issues getting this mod going? Everything is working properly but for some reason I'm using normal attacks. I'm missing 2099268516 in OAR menu and when I find it in my folder it says its the only empty animation folder. I have tried many installs and even uninstalling any mod that touches H2H animations with no success

Have you solved the problem? it's kinda strange because that folder shouldn't be empty, my best guess is something went missing during the download, but you said you tried multiple installing, so I'm not sure what's going on here. A great great mod! The ultimate HxH animation mod! 🙏🙏 I use both wingchun and jeet kune do! For some reason, however, wingchun misses 2 to 3 punches (even with precision installed). Chain Yat Jee Kuen always work, aswell the strongpunch variants. As for Bruce Lee style, everything works fine. Anyway, I cant just wait for your next mods!! Thank you so much🙏
Thanks man, glad you like the mods :) For wingchun misses I guess it might be the problem of me setting the hitbox too small (only 1.5 times of the hand skeleton). Back then I was trying to follow the wingchun philosophy of getting as close to your enemy as possible so you can hit him hard, but I forgot that it could be a problem in game. You can try open the annotations of the HKXs and change the number 1.5 to something bigger and see if that solved your misssings.

However these two are from fantasy fictions so they will be a bit flashy and overpowered, compared to Wingchun and Bruce Lee styles.

Sorry for the late reply! My real life's been a mess and I haven't got the time for Skyrim and Nexus for the past months. You need to download HkannoConvenienceTool by dTry. If the mod has been renamed and you can't find it, search dTry's homepage and it'll be there. You copy my animation files (.hkx) to this tool, you get annotations (.txt) of those hkxs. Open the generated txt, and anymore you see "(1.5)", change it to 2.5 or 3.5, save it, and update the hkx with the convenience tool. Copy and late back these hkxs to my mod and it's done.
I wanna try this mod but when i saw all the requirements, i see that Elden Rim is a mandatory, which has Modern staggerlock as a must in its requirement. while this mod has Scriptfree Behaviour Staggerlock, modern staggerlock is incompatible with it. any idea on how to resolve this?

Just one thing: choose the EldenRim only version of my mod instead of the GoW one, since GoW is not fully compatible with Modern stagger.
