Much better! I've even made custom pieces (very few but ya know) Nowadays i mainly stick to conversions like from Sims to Mass Effect etc. but since i've recently come back into skyrim i've been wanting to get back into the old mashups :D

Wow! That looks so nice! I never really liked the look of the original. It just looks like someone pulled off a part of the wall in a crypt. Now THIS looks like something i'd be proud to keep in my inventory. Thanks for sharing!
Hey I love the mod but I can't get it to work. I downloaded manually and copied it to sse data, didn't work. Then I downloaded via NMM where it can be disabled/enabled but it does not appear in plugins or mod order and continues to not function in game. Any help would be appreciated because this beautiful piece of art needs to be in my game.

4k textures for a freaking pickaxe. For those days when you just wanna RP the world's angriest miner but wanna look good doing it.
All joking aside, it's worth noting that pickaxes benefit from any war axe perks. They're a great weapon to start the game with because you can transition to a real war axe later (like any true Nord - swords are for milk drinkers!) and until then you can save carry weight just using the pickaxe as your main weapon.
I don't suppose you'd consider replacing the Notched pickaxe with this instead? I think that would be a much better fit, while also making one of the few unique pickaxes truly unique.
I was thinking the same thing. When I first saw it, I immediately thought of Minecraft and thought it would make a better Notched Pickaxe than an ANCIENT Nordic Pickaxe, So I did it. I made a version for myself that retextures only the Notched Pickaxe instead. It looks awesome. All I need to do now is figure out how to replace the pickaxe animation while the Notched Pickaxe is equipped. At least it'll mine if I attack the ore vein with it.
