I know, I know... complaint, complaint... I use Vortex. When I am installing new "to me" mods, I check the plugin section to make sure that everything is working correctly. In this case, I am getting an "incompatible plugin" message. The Message says "This plugin was created for the original Skyrim and may be incompatible with Skyrim Special Edition. This can cause unforseen problems during gameplay." This is a closer for me and therefore the mod goes and I cannot endorse it. Bummer!
That makes the grass sparser not shorter. As in you'll see patches here and there. I prefer my iMinGrassSize at 55-60. The terrain needs to be edited to use "NoGrass" variants of the terrain.
Is there any way to fix this? I love small shacks and I would love to use this :/

That should make the grass much shorter and help to mitigate the problem. Higher numbers = Shorter grass.

I'd like to know how to fix this as well. The same happens with Veydosebrom. Also - that bloody Vigilant of Stendarr turned up (after I killed four skeletons) and decided to stick around like he owns the place (ended up burning him to death and dumping him in the lake). The fact that the roof leaks when it rains was enough for me to choose a different home. On the plus side - it looks great, I like the decoration, and storage, I'm glad it doesn't have a ridiculous basement and that it hasn't tried to shove a smelter in there. It's a nice immersive starter shack.
Big thank you for this lovely little home great for a starting character. My only dear wish is that it would be patched to work better with Verdant because with that, it is incredibly overgrown with grass growing through everything outside. :-(
I love this mod, I just wish I could lock the front door. And maybe that the crafting stuff was locked or protected somehow so that wandering NPCs didn't stop to use my grindstone etc.
not sure why, but on my game, the shack sort of sinks beneath the ground. the whole lower level is at least a little sunken and i can't access the last room on the lower level at all because there's so little space in the doorway leading there. any advice? i can provide pics upon request.

- Cool design
- Extremely lore-friendly
Cons:
- Laggy AF for such a small shack
- Ladder hitbox is annoying to use, it's not user-friendly (hard to aim at)
8/10
Unfortunately my whole shack is overgrown because I'm using Verdant Gras
