Another mod that adds Vals tags BUT this one does something else, i went into every helmet record, and every hooded robe and enabled wearing circlets with them. So while Vals itself may rename the records this update/patch ALSO lets you wear circlets with helms and hood.

(The Picture show my character wearing a dragon priest mask because i have another mod that removes their own hoods and makes them just a circlet which makes they work naturally with my mod)

You don't need vals, but without vals you'd have a bunch of armor that have tags and many that don't but if that doesn't bother you then no you do not need vals at all, this mod is 100% stand alone and only REQUIRES you have Skyrim SE/DLCs
